Tried this but mb is showing CPU light and no display. Same motherboard

i tryed flash it earler with flash drive scan disk notthing bought from walmart waiting for it update flash button so left it alone for 3 hours and nothing fan did not come on at all no lights on board except bios flash button was still flashing so i changed to differnet flash dirve ativa and that one worked fan did not come on it stoped flashing so with me leaving board on for 3 hours waiting is the board ok or should i return it thank you

i followed every instruction but everytime i put my usb stick and press the flash button for 2 seconds the motherboard turns on but no flashing red light. any idea what did i do wrong?

I have a huge problem, i did flashed to the 2021 version to support my new ryzen 9 5900x and now my ethernet connection is really BAD, like almos inexistent. What am i supposed to do? Can i reflash it to the newest version while having it support my ryzen 9 5900x??

I have downloaded the update and installed it through the Msi center software and am having problems booting into windows, the CPU fan is still spinning but no signal from the keyboard or monitor. Can the above way fix this situation?

Few days ago I was playing game and suddenly my screen went black saying no signal but the cpu was on and the fans running but keyboard and mouse were not working, so i tried to turn off the cpu by pressing power button but nothing happened.
Then I did some research and then I cleared the CMOS and then I started my pc and it booted normaly and the screen was fine but after 3 days the screen went black again .
Then I again cleared CMOS then it worked and my pc showed screen for 3 hours then again it went to no signal on screen but the cpu was on.
I have msi pro vdh max motherboard please help.

There seems to be conflicting information on various sites. You said to leave the usb stick name blank, others say rename it BIOS. You have msi.rom lower case, the MSI site has it in capitals.

One good question please. When renaming a bios file, do I have to use "msi.rom"? Why is that?

Nice, didn't know that the file needs to be renamed msi.rom. My Mflash didn't work anymore, therefore I went to the second option. Hopefully my Mflash will work in future again. Might be possible that I killed this feature by using a Beta Bios before even after default all options before any Bios update. Don't know, but I was able to update to newest version and I'm happy.

in my case (gigabyte b550m s2h) it is flashing in 1.5 minute with the same speed and in the end lighting for 5 seconds stable and turns off. tried to open my build and it did not start. can you help please Mike?

Hello Mike. Mine has a 5000 series ready sticker on it. I assume there is no need to update the bios. At first, ez debug led lit on my 5600g. So I plugged again the connector properly and now the boot led lit instead and won't proceed to bios. What do I do next?I do not have a windows usb stick plug in yet.

so the flash drive needs to be 32gb or less?, why is that and is that the reason why it wouldn't work either way ie M-flash or changing the name extension to ROM powering down inserting the device in the special Flash usb port and pressing the button..?.....thx man i'm desperate to resolve this issue...because it may well be why i am having constant issues with my internet disconnectiong (belive me i've tried a LOT of things) or my g25 wheel not working ie (will not self calibrate) thx for any advice bro, cheers
