Surley if the planets are drifting apart wont that effect the seasons slighty

Hi, can anyone explain the wind? We are in Cumbria and yesterday and today it’s very hot but very windy (south easterly), gusts of around 40mph. Someone mentioned a ‘Helm’ wind over the pennies that causes the ‘Helm bar’. Can anyone explain this during you deep dive please?
