This is a movie, so the actress is made to seem rude, and her actions exaggerated.
But some janitors do spread germs and the rooms do be filthy due to them half assing it and improper cleaning. And, you do have to leave hospitals because it may not be the right place for your loved one. It's sad to take real life issues that people have and put it into a movie/TV show making it seem so nonchalant.

Being sad and grieving is okay BUT what isn't okay is taking out on others and letting it control your life. your loved one wouldn't want you to be sad forever or let it control your life and make it worse. The daughter is most light upset and is grieving but also knows that she can't be sad forever as they're not much she can do but be there for him.

The daughter understands, but does not acknowledge the situation. She is in denial of the situation, not being selfish, in my opinion.
