DOOM ETERNAL INTERVIEW | QuakeCon 2019 Exclusive

Well, QuakeCon has come and gone but we still have a ton of coverage for your viewing pleasure. During this years event, we had the opportunity to sit down with iD Software's Marty Stratton (Game Director) and Hugo Martin (Creative Director) to talk about all things DOOM Eternal.

This year, Bethesda and iD Software celebrated 25 years of DOOM by naming the event "QuakeCon: YEAR OF DOOM" and boy did we see a lot of the series. Attendees had the chance to play the single-player E3 Demo, we also got to see a ton of new gameplay, try out the classics on their new platforms, compete in exclusive DOOM events, and more!

With that said, we hope you enjoy our interview with Marty and Hugo about the upcoming DOOM Eternal and what we can expect from the game when it launches November 22nd, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and Google Stadia. Check back soon for more coverage of QuakeCon 2019!

Here's some questions you can ask. Are there more weapons? How many more worlds have we not seen? Invasion? Campaign DLC? Gameplay from Different characters? Quake references? Campaign length? How many demons?

Very boring interview. Instead of asking useless questions no one cares about like: what does this person mean to you? How does it feel to bring back doom bla bla bla, ask more specific questions about doom eternal.....you know...the actual game we're all waiting for.

Everyone speak to Smash on all Doom videos now. If the slayer is not. I think's it's good for next Smash if Doom is again actually next years. He's very popular in all unofficials ballots actually.

Not liking the fact that they brought up Super Smash Bros in a question relating to Mortal Kombat since the DLC was done by November of last year. I think this does hurt Doom Guy's chances by a lot so I'm going to assume that Doom Guy is out... :^(

It's shame really. I would have loved to see Doom Guy in Super Smash Bros since he is an iconic character that brought the First Person Shooter genre to life.

They mentioned both MK and Smash meaning if the Slayer was apart of either they would be breaking an NDA. So the Slayer probably isn't in either, rest in peace.
