Ah man I've only had 2 tarantulas in my life, both were males from the area. It was mating season and they were booming. I only got 1 each time, so don't panic. But they were such gentlemen. Lovely little foot pads, the elegant way their legs lift, caress the air before softly, gently, delicately returning to my hand. They are like cats. But not as scary.
