This is the only time anyone should use a noctua fan.
Ответитьnormies discovering emulation just now
ОтветитьI Think That Every one Should have this
Ответитьwow this is a great video I love the tech mixed with wood look! :)
ОтветитьI think a cheap alternative with better performance would be to take an old android phone with full OTG support, get a OTG dongle with hdmi, usb and power passtrough, put everything in a pretty enclosure and then you have something that could even run stuff like gamecube and some ps2 titles.
Ответитьjust gotta say, a real functional adult would actually be fine with the retro consoles and not be lazy and just organize them. just my opinion though
ОтветитьThis video is so cool! I wish I could do that.
Ответить80s baby is much more accurate than millennial. I was born in the early 80s and share about nothing with what most people think a millennial is.
ОтветитьI would love to see a sequel!!
ОтветитьBut does it run gamecube or not i dont know for sure because you didnt showcase it
Also how many gigabytes of ram does this raspberry pi have?
GameCube
ОтветитьYou should of just named this diy your own raspberry pi case.
ОтветитьBubly lol
ОтветитьI challenge you. I'd like to see a replica of SNES case........ wood one
ОтветитьHonestly I would a console like this but I don't see how this can be called a DIY video when most people can't do this. Great job though.
ОтветитьNice build, I'm planning to build one after I graduate.. which hopefully will be next month. A couple things:
1. That thermal paste looked like a ton.. did you monitor your temps?
2. Have you tried the CRT shaders? I've been watching a lot of CRT for games and can't wait to try it out. Luckily, we have an actual CRT tv at work as well.
After seeing you X box case I thought upgrading my Pi cases would be a cool idea, and you have already done it. Time to use my new 3018.
ОтветитьSome people might yell at me but when I strip really thin wires like that I use a lighter and burn the plastic coating off them, it's really easy and effective.
Ответитьhmm, so with airflow for things like this you should really have two fans, one at front pulling and one at back pushing you want to Create a flow through the case, the smaller one pushing up won't disapate heat very well, for a unit like this shouldn't be an issue but best practices, is creating a flow through the fan on the smaller one is more to pull new air across the fins than move air around the case.
ОтветитьI would love to spend a few hours with you and designs and create something new together 🤩😁😇❤️ I love your creativity and you have an amazing machinery’ wow ! I wish you all the enlightenment of this world and to keep your mind open and adventures has it is .. ( using different materials “not matter what “) I mean can you imagine creating a console case with empty cans of soft drinks ? 🙃 I know sometimes I’m very random 😂… anyway you are amazing not matter what material you use !🙏🏼
ОтветитьDefinitely a project I'd want to make someday
Ответитьtoo much technology and machines to create just an ugly ... inefficiently designed pi box
ОтветитьHow about a portable version that you can play games on the go
ОтветитьHi Zac would you be willing to share the XCarve files for the case?
ОтветитьShowed up because of the short, had to see it
ОтветитьI'm sure it's been said already, and I know I'm late to the party here, but you could just use your fingernails to take the shielding off wires that small.
ОтветитьBro sounds like Walt Jr. without the cerebral palsy 💀
ОтветитьAt least you will show the games you own. Some how I think you'll play some that you don't own in any case a lawyer will still say it's illegal or gray area. I would think as long as they are not brand new 15 to 20 years old. But game companies aren't likely to go after you unless you are taken profits from them.
ОтветитьSure sure. Of course you own those games. Why do pirates always lie?
ОтветитьUgh, I thought you were actually presenting a "console", not something that can run emulation, that's completely different. Just click bait. 👎
ОтветитьIts a pie, not a cake. That was a lot of frosting on that heat sink 😳
Ответитьeverytime i hear pie i must think about flying things in good kondithorians - just only in retro
ОтветитьLet me stop you right at the start. If you are using a CNC, it’s not a DIY for 99% of the population.
ОтветитьSearched for DIY retro gaming console. Didn't realize every DIY'er had multiple thousand dollar CNC machines these days...
ОтветитьThis video has been in my "watch later" list for quite a while. I only now get to watch it. I've been planning on building something similar and your video gave me some good ideas on what to look for regarding design and hardware. Well done, Zac.
ОтветитьHow much ram has your raspberry? What ram you suggest for wii and n64 games ?
Ответитьwhere do you download the games from?
ОтветитьI personally think you should have bought the NES case on Amazon
ОтветитьI love this I’m even starting to think about building my own
Ответитьdope!
Ответитьi would honestly love to see a part 2
ОтветитьWithout overclocking, what’s it’s limitation? Would it still be able to run up to at least N64? I have a SNES Mini I may try and gut and replace with a similar setup
Ответитьget an orange pi
Ответитьpls make just pt2 i enjoied this
Ответитьis it good deal
Ответитьmake pt2 ill instal like crazi found youre video and like fast
Ответитьi might do same but ps2 ps3 ps4 ps5 emulators are going bee in it
Ответить
