Hello, I tried using the free capture one for fuji but I'm stuck. I can't seem to export my edited files into photoshop or even saving a tiff file onto my hard drive. So this problem is putting me off using C1. Any advise please from you or your viewers would be very very helpful. Thanks a lot.

Can we connect to the camera directly without using a router? Similar to Sony? What would we do if we were shooting on location outside?

C1 v22 is still slapping hard without these features.

Hi Chris. I'm waiting a Noise Reduction tool as good as Topaz and DXO just release one before upgrading my Capture One 22 version. Also waiting for a Blur tool on Capture One like Topaz propose one too. And I'm not the only one. I hope these requests will have a better hearing from Phase One via your site. Thank You.

Hey Chris. when you are testing wireless tethering for a deeper analysis please try if we can connect our camera to a mobile{smartphone} hotspot and camera for the same . so that we can use tethering in indoor surroundings and when we are shooting outdoors as well.

Hello and a big thank you for this video which made me upgrade Capture One. But why is it not possible to connect an X-T4? Mine, however, connects to my Iphone via wi-fi. Also I can't even connect it to my computer from a cable. In your next video could you also give indications on the old X-T4 models?

I'm also a Fuji user, like their "analog" touch. I currently using Luminar Neo as my photo editing Software, because i don't have that much experience in editing. What do u think about the qaulity of Luminar Neo for Fuji raws. Would like to see a compersion video with some editing softwares u think are the best for fuji.

Now they only have to implement "face focus" in the focus window "live" when you do a tethered shoot.
So that you don't have to re-arrange the photo in 100% view manually to see the eyes if the model moves in the shot. This is very annoying up until now.

Yesterday when I was transferring photos from my XT3 to my iphone using the Fujifilm app, the camera light starts blinking as usual but nothing happened, the app just did this loading screen thing for minutes (was only transferring 2 photos)...So I decided to turn off the camera since nothing was happening. And when I turn it on, I LOST EVERY SETTING ON THE CAMERA, it's like it was brand new, I had to set language, date, everything. Has anyone experienced this?

C1 makes no sense with their latest cloud version.

Also be aware if you like to use DxO PureRAW 3 for Fuji raf files, DxO converts the image to a linear DNG but when importing that DNG into C1 you lose the ability to choose a Fuji Profile (aka film simulation) due to the fact that C1 cannot change the Profile because it's a linear DNG...you can do this in LR but not C1...

For me on a 2.4 wireless access point the time for a raw file to go from X-T5 to C1 was 50 sec to 1 min...this is for one RAW file with no jpeg image being transferred.

It amazes me how reluctant Capture One in adding history feature. I like how CO renders not only Fuji files, but overall any files even from bayer cameras. I usually can take editing way too much and wanna see few steps behind. Which in case with CO I need to click/press hotkey as many times as I want to go back. Not to mention that I can't compare picture exactly few steps behind and current one. This is just ridiculous and I have no idea why they so reluctant to add history feature. But maybe there's some other options in CO idk, if anyone knows I'd really appreciate some advice, thx.

Ah!! I have just decided to stop using C1 because I think it's to expensiv to have both C1 and Photo shop, now this video is making me rethink my decision.

I’m just about to get Lightroom since it has got automatic subject detection which is a must in sports and wedding photography which is a huge time saver and Capture One looks like falling behind in all this tech improvements.

Willing to bet the beta features will not leave beta until capture one 24 is released since 23 is the last release that will actually serve perperual licence purchasers with any updates during the life cycle of the release.

Never before has capture one released so many actually usefull updates in a release cycle.

Basically C1 is punking us by making us actually believe that they haven't been holding back features for this update offensive in the run up to capture one 24, which will cost licence buyers more for less.

When they actually provide a chromatic abberation tool that isnt garbage after many years of neglect, maybe then it will be worth upgrading.

I miss add/substract/xor operations on layer masks. I can only copy a mask from one layer to another and that's it. I cannot draw two radial masks in one layer, I cannot create a linear gradient in a form of a pipe to affect only the center of my image instead of a half. That is very limiting for me. I hope C1 developers will read comments here or Chris will let them know or suggests how to submit feature request a better way.

Really useful it would be if the unsharp out of foxus shots would be automatically marked.

I gave Capture One a year (2022) to win me over. It didnt happen. The main reason is I am really deep in the Adobe eco system. Being a hybrid shooter of video and stills. I use a lot of the Creative Cloud apps and my catalogs for Lightroom go back to almost Version 1. But aince I felt C1 processed Fuji raw files better I gave it a chance. In the beginning I really liked that fact and the color grading of C1. But Lr has caught up in many ways and surpassed C1 with the masking. I am not anti Capture One just too engrained in Adobe. BTW excellent video as usual.

I'd imagine you could easily out shoot the transfer speed.

I remember the old MiFi SD cards that did this and that was painfully slow and that was only JPGs.

Tethering works with well an iPad and Capture One for iPad using an XT3

Do you think you could set it up to save the JPEG to the captureone/laptop just while simulataneously having the RAW saved to the camera. That way the speed is a litle better and you can use the capture one as a preview? Maybe there's a better method than that for what I want?

Thanks Chris!, as usual super useful content. I was playing around with the tether feature at it works really great. Better when only tethering raw files as if you have the fine+raw there is a noticeable delay on transferring the images to capture one.
