They tackled him to the ground when he had severe burns. That had to be extremely painful
ОтветитьDid the thumbnail change or am I crazy?
ОтветитьI think when he mentioned he was tired of living in society should’ve been a first clue he was hateful and could be a danger to himself or society. He obviously has anger issues. After he felt that Kyoto Animation plagiarized his story, that did it for him and he was out for revenge. I don’t think there was any way to stop him since he had no family or friends to tell him it’s wrong and de-escalate him. He needed mental help because he was far gone at this point.
ОтветитьI haven’t seen your older videos so i’m going through them now. they’re so bad compared to your new ones. like proper amateur, constant cuts where you can’t even get through a little sentence before cutting it to continue it. why didn’t you just re do it in its entirety? (said sentence)… but you STILL look to the left and right especially when you said “and” “but” like you’re confused at yourself lol.
ОтветитьI love how Adrian roasted him by noting that Shingi Aoba wore the same clothes THREE days in a row 😂😭
ОтветитьGlad you dont do background music anymore
ОтветитьI think what actually happened is due to the amount of submissions it’s likely another person wrote a story pretty identical to his statistically that would make sense so he thought it was his
ОтветитьThe most recent update is from September 2023 is an article about his defense attorney's claiming is acquittal due to mental incompetence. I wonder if justice will be done.
Although I found another article from October that says in Late January the judges will give a verdict
This is so sad. They were so young.
ОтветитьIt is now 2023 and he has still not been sentenced, his trial has been set for some time in 2024. The fact that such a crime has gone without trial this long is saddening.
ОтветитьI've watched so many videos of this channel and grabbed so many coffees that I'm thinking of switching coffee to beer
ОтветитьWatching this now, all I can say is that you are far more confident now. I'm enjoying catching up on all your videos. Keep up the great work and channel. Regards from Norfolk, UK 🇬🇧 😊
ОтветитьYou've come a long way
ОтветитьThrough what I have heard from the recent hearing of Shinji, He has no regrets and only cares about what he perceived as a slight and plagiarism against him, saying "why are you punishing me? What about Kyoto Animation? What about them Taking my work, why won't you punish them
ОтветитьI was in Japan when the fire happened and went and laid flowers at the studio afterwards along with hundreds of other fans. Such a horrible and POINTLESS loss of beautiful lives. Still hurts to think about those people who lost their lives.
ОтветитьLow murder rate in Japan might have something to do with more than 80 thousand people going missing in Japan each year and the mindset of minding your own business and not reporting DV, or sex crimes to the police
ОтветитьAdrian & people my work was plagarised and I hated the man than did it, I wanted to kill him at the time. But my win was to show everyone what a fraud he was. Thank you Adrian.
Ответитьis it okay if i pretend it was facebook and zuck and use this as me time material xD
ОтветитьOn 12 May 2023, the Kyoto District Court announced that Aoba will stand trial on 5 September 2023 and that a verdict would be announced on 25 January 2024
Ответить"Shinji... is an evil man. I hope every remaining minute of his life is filled with pain and regrets." Yeah, he's evil. But the fact you hope him pain for the rest of his life just goes to show you're just as evil as him, if not more. And your morbid fascination with criminals makes me think you yourself have tendencies towards doing criminal things. Don't paint yourself as a saint, because your true nature is showing through through your words.
ОтветитьAnd that’s why you don’t screw people over 😢
Ответить❤❤❤ Anime nation unite!! 😢😢😢💔💔💔💔💔
ОтветитьThis was mentioned in a reply in the comments but I just want to share the information. The scene Shinji Aoba claimed that Kyoto Animation plagiarized was a scene in Tsurune where the main character was buying discounted meat. It could be the scene before buying the meat where the characters talk about buying discounted meat since they would be eating it on the same day and friends of MC saying that is a smart idea. This is reported on SoraNews24 (not sure how reliable this is)
I've been through university and plagiarism is not taken lightly. Often you would just get a straight zero for your assignment if not your final grade. I've also seen cases of copyright and plagiarism on social media. However, I have never seen people taking it into their own hands to murder a bunch of people that were not directly involved. This was truly an unfortunate incident where some people burned and some people suffocated and the survivors are definitely traumatized.
The trial has yet to begin but it has been announced to be taken place in September of 2023.
Omg Whhhy graph him. Let him look like the monster he is!
ОтветитьI went to Tokyo and Kyoto when I went to Japan, and they are both beautiful.
ОтветитьWhat's just off to the left of the camera and why do you keep looking at it. Is it a prompt of some kind?
ОтветитьJust dropping by to say that apparently the "plagiarized" part that the arsonist claimed was just a scene where the character bought discounted meat at a convenience store--which is AN EVERYDAY SCENE, by the way. When I was in Japan, that's the first thing I buy whenever I go to the grocery store or the 7-11 just across the street. It's not plagiarized, dammit. Every person does that. And just so you know, the series he's referring to is Tsurune--which is an ADAPTATION OF A LIGHT NOVEL. In other words: SOMEBODY ELSE wrote it and KyoAni just landed the deal to animate it, not that the scene was in any way plagiarism when you can find similar scenes in almost every slice-of-life or even school/club-related anime. It infuriates me that almost 70 people had their lives ruined (36 of those lives ENDED) for this stupid reason that was a product of merely a DELUSION.
Animators are hard workers. They're often overworked just to get episode after episode on schedule. People start working in animation for the sake of art, but like every job, a lot of them would have already felt sick just looking at a Wacom tablet or pen. By no means was it this glimmering lucrative job in Japan, but work is work; they still do it because they want to feed their families and bring joy to fans all around the world. A lot of those killed were the ones who do the grunt work, and this was an animation studio that actually accepts women animators. It was wholly unjust that they all died for such nonsense and worse, to die burning. According to autopsy results, they died burning as the fire consumed them faster than they could suffocate.
You videos are nice as documentaries but you can’t finish them saying you hope the murderer would die or suffer all his life or staff like that. Keep this for yourself cause saying those kind of stuff lowers the level of the video and also just lowers you too, the difference being you haven’t killed someone (yet). Adding the fact that these people are mentally ill soo…
Ответитьomg so this was the reason for the studio burning
ОтветитьI hope shinji gets what he deserves, most likely the chair
Shinji crank that soulja boy
I remember this case clearly. It happened right before our anime convention here in my country. We literally had a whole memorial for all those lives lost. Hope this sick bastard gets the worst penalty ever.
Rest in peace for those 36 innocent souls and my greatest condolences for the families.
If even if they stole his idea you don't hurt people. He deserves to die. So many lives destroy for no reasons. I think he is evil and has many Demons. This sick world needs God's Son Jesus 🙏
ОтветитьAt least the outside of this monster now matches the inside. No more hiding.
Ответить😮
Ответитьsad
ОтветитьDo you know who set the fire, this guy was hired by the government. Then do your research. The government didn’t like the animations that they were making. Do your research, the government killed them. That animation studio tried to reveal the secrets of the emperor family.
ОтветитьI think Shinji Aoba is a paranoid narcissist, he thinks the world is out to wrong him because he believes himself better than everyone else. In my mind he is competent and I hope the trial has happened and he has paid.
ОтветитьAnyone else having issues with background music being too loud?
ОтветитьA guard would have gone a long way to protect people. I don't know why they didn't hire one when they literally received death threats.
And you can discredit the dude's originality all you want, except he's the crazy one, not you. Goading on people in the same mindset is just making things worse for everyone. I'd imagine he probably tried to post about it online somewhere, and he was just met with the same response as most of the comments here. So really, you all would've just made things worse. What would've been just a generic angry post probably got fueled into a full on vendetta.
I remember this quite well i think the majority of the anime community dose rest in peace to all the victims
ОтветитьI would definitely like more international stories😊
ОтветитьShinji Aoba was a loser and sociopath to ignite a fire in the Kyoani Studios, killing 36 people, just because he suspected plagiarism of his ideas. Such a petty dispute. He should get a life sentence for this diabolical & premeditated act!
My heartfelt wishes go to the victims' families and their colleagues. I was shocked when I heard about this crime. On a better note: it's good to see the fundraiser net $33 million for rebuilding.
When you travel abroad, always be on your guard when someone behaves suspiciously around you. 😱🙀🔥🔥
Looks like an anime person
ОтветитьLook on the bright side, at least he isn't a lolicon!
ОтветитьSo much for weak sentencing. His short stint when younger released an even worse person .10 gallons of gasoline on a trolley never drew attention ?? A terrible way to die for all those innocent people The devil really did look after his own with this horror....I wonder when he will be put to death with a very apt sentence .He knew what he was doing ..He should atone for those he knowingly murdered .It is a wonder any survived and a tragedy he did . May the death penalty rid the world of a vile individual .
Ответить“You’re too loud I’m going to kill you” what a mad lad
ОтветитьHaving his story stolen will make an author angry. I know what it feels like. I submitted a Sci-Fi story to an Ohio literary agent who told me it was not worth publishing. Months later MY story appeared in Anthology of SciFi under another name! The psychological trauma caused me to give up writing. BUT l did not go and kill anyone!
ОтветитьI'm assuming he was/is on the spectrum (idk what's going on in present). There's no way someone with a fully developed mental state would go this delusional
Ответить
