ОтветитьWow! and thank you for posting
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьthis is very informative. Thank you so much for your content. I enjoyed the exercises, however, I experienced my pain after a Pilates and hit training workout. I use the wall technique with the lacrosse wall and massaged the muscle… Later on, massaging it too much that the sharp pain shot from my rhombus in between my spine if I turn my head left right no pain but down or upshooting pain at the muscle. I can't do any of the exercises only to just relax and lay down.😅
ОтветитьRiding sports motorcycles in my younger years was never a problem (poor posture, heavy helmets, tense mussels) Now that I'm mid 40's It's excruciating to ride and I've had this burning pain in this exact location. I've tried for years, with multiply doctor visits, MRI and spine specialties and nothing has helped. These exercises feel good, and I'm going to continue through the winter and let hope the summer isn't another painful experience.
ОтветитьI do all the fourth one is painful shall I continue?
ОтветитьThank you doc excellent video
ОтветитьWow Coach E thank you so much for explaining this. I have been so frustrated not understanding why all this pain under/along my blades next to my spine and up on top of my shoulder the big knot and the tensed tree root feeling on both sides of my neck. It is just ridiculous for the past week I am in so much crazy pain. I did some of those exercises here and already feel some relief. Thank you so much. I downloaded the app and will work on the neck exercises. Thank you!
ОтветитьExcellent n explained very very nicely amazing. I get this pain sometimes will try
Ответитьfantastic explanation and exercises
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI have limited use of left arm. Have suffered from muscle spasms on right side for years now. If I just use my right arm to squeeze scapula together will this work? Can’t do the thoracic spine one as both arms involved there. I have been using heat and propped up bed rest to ease the spasm which works. However, it comes back after I get moving again. I suspect my posture is bad. Years of computer and sewing machine activity. Am going to try what I can do. Left arm has steel prosthesis, humerus and top of elbow due to bone cancer. Currently have another tumour on lower elbow and due for more scans, radiation etc shortly. Be nice if I can get muscle spasm fixed though.
ОтветитьI underwent bilateral hernia repair surgery a year ago. Any harm in doing these exercises?
ОтветитьThank you for such an informative video! It worked. 🙏🏽
ОтветитьHave you ever tried the THOREX for rhomboid pain?
ОтветитьThank you! This is amazing!
ОтветитьOh this was over a year ago, but anyways. When I do that last exercise, I feel my chest get all itchy. Does that mean my pec muscles are weak? If so, do you have a video on that?
ОтветитьWow!
Explanation of causes and solutions involving muscles that are nor regularly addressed in a workout.
The explanations are clear and logical, getting to the root cause with ways to change scapular anterior tilt and loosen up the scalenes and anterior spine.
Three of the exercises can be done anywhere with no equipment .
Thanks
Howdy. How do I know if my neck and shoulder pain is a pinced nerve or muscular?
I do not have a history of neck injury. I am 51, healthy and fit. I was cleaning my wood boiler 4 days ago and it requires stooping down on the ground and putting one hand upward as I pull downwards with the other hand, all while kneeling on my knees and turning my head to look upwards and downwards continously to monitor the locations.
The next morning I felt a medium range discomfort in my left shoulder and neck. Here it is 4 days later with nearly the same discomfort, worse at times. It is good at night until I've been laying down for more than 7 hours, then after I rise it worsens over a couple of hours of standing to do light household work.
It gets so stiff where I can't look downwards more than 50% of usual motion, and 50% upward too, left, and right also. When I do neck traction for 15 to 20 minutes with a towel, hanging upside down, or laying on my back level, it gets much better. Also dead hanging makes it better too. Then it returns about an hour later. I have to repeat this throughout the day to feel better and stay active.
It hurts in the middle of my neck, at the shoulder level, and sometimes across my left shoulder and upper arm, to look all the way down or up, and to look left, to stand for more than 45 minutes, etc.
Is this a pinched nerve, or muscle irritation? It retreats for a while when I do the traction. Thank you!
Great information! I loved that you shared the articles that you found information in. Then a great range of exercises from warming up to strength building. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThank you so much 🙏
ОтветитьThis seems great for younger people but for someone older that 60 with weak lower back muscles this could cause lower back pain, right? Is there more gentle way besides the wall exercise?
ОтветитьThis video was extremely well explained and helpful. Excited to try these exercises to get some relief!
ОтветитьThx man
ОтветитьDoes this exercise get rid of muscle spasms? When I do back exercises with weights or pull-ups or even sprint,my muscle spasms flare up. It's my upper muscle spasms.
ОтветитьI am having this pain and its really good to watch your video
ОтветитьAmazing video. Thank you
ОтветитьI can not tell you how helpful this video is. Well explained, clear and concise. Thank you
ОтветитьI came across this video while looking for some relief for my upper back pain bothering me since two to three days. Thanks a lot for this very clear and calm way of explaining. Everything makes sense to me. While watching and intermittently stopping the video I've already tried the four exercirces. Just beginning, the next few days will tell... One question, what about using an appropriate foam roll for the second exercise (instead of a rectangular block)? I think it might be easier to address the different segments of the thoracic areas with a foam roll, if else something harmful should argue against it...(?)
ОтветитьThis worked. I’ve been over stretching thinking it would help and it only made it worse. Doing these exercises I experienced immediate relief. Thank you. Now I need to find the lower back pain relief exercise.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьThank you again
I'm doing this exercise 3 times a week
And it's really help me
Thanks thanks thanks ❤🙏
Thank you so much for this video! I have been suffering with upper back pain for years, likely due to my poor posture. I have had lower back surgery (I had Fx'd bilateral pars interarticularis, had a grade 2 spondylolisthesis, and was fixed with an Anterior/Posterior L5-S1 fixation), but my upper back is what bothers me all the time!! I especially love the "Tylenol" move--that was my daily go-to for pain relief. Not any more! Thanks for the anatomy lesson, it helps to understand the mechanics.
ОтветитьAnyone’s pain get worse before better from doing these?
Ответитьexcellent!!!
ОтветитьWhen my elbow remains in the air while working on the computer and if I do a lot of mouse use then shown area pains alot
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьLove these! I was wondering: For the levator scap stretch - Just curious about the benefit of doing it against the wall vs not against a wall? Is it just to provide stability and alignment?
ОтветитьGod bless you sir. This is REALLLLLLLL
ОтветитьI just did a Ninja Warrior "type" gym and flared up some serious rhomboid pain! All the secondary muscles that are effected in my neck were all acknowledged in this video. It was so informative to hear you talk about exactly what I am dealing with. I just started doing your exercises and I noticed some relief. I am going to keep at it! Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you!!!!
ОтветитьFirst off I highly recommend supporting coach E by buying a membership. I blew out my shoulder on 8/2?/2023. The main pain I have had is in the Rhomboid area. I rarely feel my shoulder pain because of the spazed out Rhomboid. I now walk around with “coach E’s” pony stick on my back( that’s right I renamed the posture stick exercise) the wife thinks I am nuts but it helps😂 Who knows what the neighbors think? Anyway the rhomboid spasm is awfully irritating and exhausting so now I am going to focus solely on it. Sort of like a daily back gauntlet of pain all related to slumpy shoulders which is annoying too! With all the cell phones out there I wonder how big this problem is? Time to put a gyro app on the phone that alerts us to improper posture. Man this has been a challenge. Thanks E!
PS thx for not naming your approach the Wong way.😂
