Zoom H4n Pro: Updating the Firmware

John, this is John. I purchased an h4n pro and had been recording. All of a sudden my screen error blurts "memory full" then i check and the new error reads "no card" I have a 32g card in and the readout had plenty of memory left. I am miles from a computer and a firmware update isnt in the cards and i have hours of recordings on the card. Help

How do you connect it to a computer that only has USB C like all of the new MacBooks?

i have a h4n but not all functions works... no 4 tracks and and cannot update firmware

I just purchased a new H4n pro black. The the menu button settings does not have a normal "mode" option for me to switch to MTR. And does this update change my options? I'm confused? It says my system is at 1.10 sooo? I don't what to do? some one please help?

hi, my device wont be recognised by windows 10. I have downloaded the driver and firmware on my laptop. I can't install the firmware on the zoom because the zoom isn't recognised. What can I do?

I follow the instructions to the T and I keep getting an error when it's in the Version Up mode on the recorder. Please help.

My H4 was taking forever to pop up on my windows 10 pc. I realized I didn't have an SD card inserted to store the file onto! After i popped one in, it worked like a charm! One thing to note is to be patient when holding the Play/Pause button and power. Mine took a couple of minutes to show that installation option. Thanks for the great tutorial!

Can I copy the .bin to the SD via my PC's card slot and then insert the card in the recorder? IOW, can I do it without using the cable? Thanks.
