how do I force quit the suspicious activity? Im trying but it isn't showing up the force quit button

an easier way (idk if this will work for all): go to chrome settings and go to settings reset click reset and it should be fixed

Doing the method for removing search marquis for safari was easy (probably because safari was never infected with marquis) and so was firefox. However, resetting settings for Chrome is not working at all. It's taking way too long to do so and just wipes out my browsing data and turns off my extensions without actually removing search-location.

I probably should’ve read the comments before purchasing the app. It did not work. I followed every step of the way multiple times with always the same results. I spoke with their technical support five times and they kept telling me that my computer is clean as a whistle, despite sending them screenshots that it was not. When I asked for a refund, they kept wanting to sell me the world, but did not want to give me a refund. Do not purchase this product.!!!

Bought the totalAV software and ran it on my MacBook. It did NOT work. It didn’t find the Marquis virus. Still dealing with the redirect problem.

I used to have Search Marquis and I knew it was a virus but I didn't really care because it didn't really affect me a lot I just changed the new tab website but eventually I sent my Mac to apple to fix some things and they reset my computer and the virus was gone.

for the chrome one, it gets redirecting me to search alpha whenever i click on a new tab, I already restored everything into the original but search alpha keeps coming back- idk what to do..

purchased the TotalAV deal from you, total joke. Did nothing to remove the
virus. Followed your manual instructions as well, what a joke! Do not purchase from this guy.

this didn't work as the virus has somehow hidden itself and the I cant see any suspicious files anywhere. Have run multiple anti-virus software and its not getting rid of it

Does not work on Safari AT ALL. Did every step - followed your video instructions to the letter. Closed out the browser, re-started. It re-opened to search marquis. Help!!! I ALSO have TotalAV installed!!! It says my system is clear - no viruses or malicious threats! It doesn't TOUCH search marquis. Help!!!

FINALLY ITS SAVED SAFARI IS SAVED. YOU DESERVE MUCH MORE SUBS AFTER A LITTERAL YEAR I HAVE FINALY FIXED IT. it does take a day to work. BUT STILL. Edit: i went to loads of apple stores and could not fix it but and this is a big BUT you have to follow EVERY STEP cause if it dosent work for you then you have done it wrong...

I ran the scan, I reset setting in chrome, search marquis is still pooping up.

Just reset the chrome and Safari. It worked for me
