In an attempt to try and diversify my artwork instead of drawing the same thing all the time, I've decided to do a couple of portrait practices :D let me know what you guys think, and if there's anything else I need to work on! Next I need to tackle drawing landscapes and animals... XD

After reading up a lot more on this issue, I found that it's quite common for people to suffer from 'same face syndrome' in their artwork. However a quote that stuck with me was "If you don't use reference, your work will be subjected to your own lack of knowledge and shortcomings." on a concept art forum (link: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php/243475-Same-Face-Syndrome)

I'm trying to practice my anatomy and diversity so my finished art pieces can reflect that :D
