I didn't know about zip-a-way. Thank you. I came in for the rubber stripping. I have the rope caulk but didn't use it last year.
ОтветитьGreat radio voice
Ответитьexcellent presentation.Thank you
ОтветитьHorrible...didn't address gap between upper immovable window and lower window which needs to be opened and shut
ОтветитьDidn't know Sam Elliott was a handy guy.
ОтветитьOk, so my take away, fluff the seal around the window. I did and unflattened /respring the rubber at the bottom. Worth a shot? Yes. It worked. I don't feel cold air in the middle. I will check back in a couple weeks and I will get the removable sealant weather stripping.
ОтветитьOutstanding Video! A lot of information presented amazingly well in under 5 minutes. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьWhat should I do I I suspect the draft if coming from the middle of a double pane window?
Ответитьwhat is used to seal the window that opens and between the non opening window? Horizontally'
Ответитьwhat if window leaks where top and bottom meet & lock? rope caulk or removable weather stripping, how do you fix that perm?
ОтветитьGot a nice speaking voice. Calm and well spoken. I enjoy watching your videos.
ОтветитьThis was a fantastic video. Thank you!
ОтветитьClear caulking is nice at the beginning, especially with the paintable one, and then 1-2 years down the road they collect tons of dirt, hair and everything you can think off and leaves a strip of debris that looks terrible...
ОтветитьThanks for this video sir, very well explained
ОтветитьLove this. Im a new home owner at 23 years old and i hated using my heater alot.
ОтветитьCoors light guy?
ОтветитьI get a Fawlty Towersy vibe. "Manuel!"
ОтветитьSam Elliott has a twin?
ОтветитьThis dude it’s so likable 😩
ОтветитьIs there a solution like rope caulk, but allows the windows to open and close? I am trying to figure out the best way to weather seal the sides of sliding windows.
ОтветитьVery helpful and excellent presentation. The presenter has great camera presence!
ОтветитьVery chill video. Cool swag dude
ОтветитьI don"t want to seal my windows shut!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThis excellent video shared a lot of information in 5 minutes. The flow of the presentation made it easy for me to undrerstand. It helped me a lot to figure out how to winterize my windows. Congratulatoins to Dave Mars.
ОтветитьJust ordered some rope caulk. Thanks for the tips!
ОтветитьI live in SW Missouri and I enjoy your videos! I have followed your instructions and have winterized all 11 windows in my little house. Thanks for sharing these videos for us! Have a great day! :)
ОтветитьJesus guy fucking do it already
ОтветитьI just spent the morning watching winterizing my apartment, and this by far is the most informative and easy to understand. Thanks!
ОтветитьThe music kicks ass!
ОтветитьThanks so much. Had never heard of peel-a-way caulk.
ОтветитьThis guy is going to get people killed with his idiotic rope caulk idea; he’s basically teaching people to glue their windows shut so that in the panic of a fire you won’t be able to escape unless you happen to have 20 minutes and a putty knife. Even if the smoke and heat don’t kill you right away you’ll certainly be dead before the fire dept arrives.
But you’ll be warm!
Much Appreciated!!
ОтветитьExcellent video. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhen you put the removable calking along the sides of the window inside your house or use rope calking, must you remove it in the summer? How easy is it to do that?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьIn russia we weather strip with brick
Ответитьstraight to the point, very simple and effective advice with quick easy tutorials that allows a viewer to understand exactly what needs to be done. You da bomb
ОтветитьThank you so much very informative.
ОтветитьThis video was very well done. Thanks, Dave. Anyone complaining or making negative comments should really consider growing up...
Ответитьif you live in the South, avoid the rubber weatherstripping. It starts to melt in the 100+ degree summer and will seal the window shut.
ОтветитьThis was great. Thank you!!
ОтветитьVery helpful video.
ОтветитьRope Caulk!!! Now that I know this is a thing i'm going to the store. Thanks for the info!
