Hi, in a Civic, I have one bank, with two catalytic converters. I have one sensor before and one after the first catalytic converter. I have no sensor after the second catalytic converter. Do you happen to know why there is no sensor after? Thank you

NOTE: there is minor discrepancy btw the diagram and what you say verbally, I think you have the Bank 2 mislabeled as Bank1 and the sensor 2 downstream should be the one furthest towards the exhaust from the intake, right? Thanks again for recording this and the pointers. Off I go to sort out my Bank 1, Sensor 2 error code!

Hello I own a1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 liter engine. I got the P 0491 code. Supposed to be a secondary air flow bank one. Is there a secondary air flow pump on my Jeep?

Great job! Broke down into bite size pieces. Knowing where bank 1 and 2 are located, and why is extremely important to trouble shoot! A lot of online mechanics assume too much and bypass important basic principals, this leads to unnecessary confusion.

Not all engines have have exhaust running all the way up on each side of for instance my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 l six only has the right side exhaust so how can you say what's bank 1 and bank 2 so that means Bank 1 right

Thanks for explain on you video , but you confuse people because you show a V6 engine with cylinders vertical line means 3 in line to left and 3 in line on the right I don’t know what kind the car is , but typically the engine V6 cylinders horizontal are situated 3 at front those are cylinders 2-4-6 from left to right and the other 3 are in back of the engine cylinders 1-3-5 from left to right same way horizontal . Now I know bank #1 in belong to side of the cylinder 1 and bank 2 is belong cylinder 2 . Where is located bank 2 on engine is stalled cylinders horizontal like Hyundai San Fe V6 ? I guess need to to follow manifold where is located cylinder 2 .I hope you clarified on your video what kind the car is . 😅

i replaced the oxigen sensor 1 or bank 1 but still got the problem could be spark plugs too or sensor 2

1 & 2 and sensors 1& 2.
I'm not a hater like some people on here. Good information is useful no matter how you speak.

I need to replace my catalytic converter on my 2006 dodge grand caravan 3.8L engine. The converter code came up three times, so far. What bank is the o2 sensor for the catalytic converter connection? Unfortunately this would be the second time replacing the catalytic converter in 10 yrs since I've owned my van. I can't afford the original converter from the dealership for $3,800. So I'm going purchase a magnaflow catalytic converter. Any suggestions sir? Thank you
