So, there are two points I have to argue here. The first is that, not only is there, in fact, no confirmed birthdate for Hatice, it couldn't have been in 1496 as that would've been after Suleiman. Since the "one son to one mother" rule was very much in effect at that point, Hatice, who's believed to have been Suleiman's full blooded sister, would've had to be born before him as, after the birth of a son, their mother wouldn't have been allowed to return to the bed of Selim I.
The other point is that, thanks to the efforts to Ebru Turan, who debunked the idea of Ibrahim marrying Hatice to begin with, we absolutely do know the actual name of his wife. It's Muhsine Hatun, the granddaughter of the same man, Iskender Pasha, who he had once been enslaved under. He wrote letters to her and there references to her in both Venetian and Ottoman contemporary texts. So it's been thoroughly debunked that he was ever wed to an Imperial princess. Indeed it only seemed to enter popular belief as a concept due to how grand the celebrations for his marriage were (there was a remark that got taken out of context that such celebrations had only ever been seen before for royal matches).
