Is Super Mario Party ONLINE Any Good? - REVIEW (1.1.0 Update - Switch)

Remember when Pokémon Lets go had passwords for online?
And everyone used pikachu pikachu pikachu for randoms
Maybe that could be a solution here

2 main problems:
- you can’t set the difficulty of the CPU
- you cant play on 3 consoles if you wanna play 1-1-2 people per console

Now I need to borrow this game from my sister.

Here the thing I’ve been not wanting to get this game because of the fact you couldn’t play the board game online! Like it baffled me.

Um so I played one game 2 rounds with someone that lived like a 10 minute drive away and after the second-third turn before a mini game we disconnected which is dumb cause it ran pretty smooth before

I hope adding a invite feature becomes the norm after this

Everyone has to support this because if it gets enough attention they could update it again

I feel like all this game needs now is
New playable characters
New boards along with mini games
Online stability
Online matchmaking

I wish I could play with strangers because my friends don’t have it lol

The mini games are too short. Nintendo need to work on that.

Comparing Mario Party Online vs SSBU...OBVIOUSLY Party will be better lol for input lag, it's a SSBU is a fighter!

The reason it’s friends only is because 2v2 mini games will be anoinces I think

The one thing I don't understand is why is there no matchmaking? Doesn't that just defeat the point of it being called "Online".

I've played multiple matches since this came out. i've gotten in about 20 games and only ever finished 2 of that 20

They finally got their act together? Probably just positive mind talking ,but i HOPE SO

I cant even play online, yes I do have nso but whenever I try i cant play it just brings me back to the lobby

I wish there was a way you could join a game already in progress

2 years too late. Without a messaging feature on switch all of this is super inconvenient.
The game needs more maps and content in general. Also they should have updated the format to support 4-8 players IMO. Have a fair sized pool of scalable 4p mini games and it would work fine.

This is such a random thing to add 2 years later

wait 2 players can play online on one switch with another 2 players on one switch but can’t play with 2 other players with each having a switch of their own? that’s weird, maybe Mario Party Superstars fixes that? 3d world online didn’t have that issue i don’t understand why mario party would be any different

I was also hoping that they would make other controls work similar as well. So that way for Switch Lite users doesn't need joycons which it is completely redundant for those who have Switch Lite consoles.
