2025 fashion trends and predictions ️

I am not a trends person but I LOVE deer print. They’re my favorite animal and it’s such a subtle print

Most of this is already in my wardrobe, so I can't wait to be fashionable for the next two years!

Compared to 2024 trends, these look really interesting to me. Quite excited to see the colours and different textures 💕

I hope these trend predictions come to fruition!!!!! The majority of them are to my taste, and I soooo need more brands making these clothes, especially skirts, animal motifs, and embroidered garbs or ponchos!!!!!!

A lot of these fashion predictions are really ugly

I'd like to tack on that because of the 80's revival and medieval fascination I think movies that evoke the dark fantasy aesthetic will begin to get more popular. The last unicorn, labyrinth, the dark crystal etc. We've already seen people try to recreate it with ai numerous times (sometimes it feels like there are more ai depictions of dark fantasy than actual dark fantasy movies) It also ties in with the new romantics as david bowies wardrobe was killer in the labyrinth. I don't think it's too far fetched to see the hennin utilized in high fashion. perhaps in a smaller more subtle size.

I see that iconic fanmade Critical Role Mollymauk coat in the modern medieval section! Taliesin Jaffe ate with that character design 😍

Deer print is so adorable and it had a revival among the japanese fashion girls bc so many lolita brands did different jackets and pieces with it.... Im kinda :/ its going to become micro trend

YESS I've been waiting for this year's video, just to see if I could predict and safe to say, we share the same views- particularly the modern medieval. I'm looking forward to people rocking up in chainmail and ready for people to stop dressing so simply! Maximalist all the wayy!

I feel like sportswear has been popular in fashion since the 2022 world cup

The best part about trends becoming mainstream is how much easier it will be to get those items. Like I was dressing cottagecore before it became a trend in 2020, so when it became trendy, it just made it easier to wear. Same with bows in 2023, now I have enough to fit with every outfit. I'm excited to see the dollhouse and animal motifs come in. I personally love cutesy and whimsical things (I was HUGE into Japanese streetwear as a preteen, so that's where this comes from). I've already got a whole array of teddy bear accessories because I LOVE teddy bears, and it is definitely easier to get them now than it was 6 months ago or last year. The socks, the hairclips, I can't wait to have teddy bear clothing too. I'll be honest that I honestly dislike gym wear as casual wear. So I am excited to see more people wearing clothes that give a little personality, particularly because gym wear no longer even means you go to the gym, so there's no personality left in them (though whimsical gym wear?? might be cute as hell). Also no to mohair. I HATE the look. It makes my teeth hurt for some reason.

Loving the New Romantics and medieval revivals, plus vintage sportswear for more casual days. I am a 30-something with a baby face so I have always avoided juvenile/kiddie core styles and will continue to do so, but they're fun for others!

i recently watched a video, someone flip thru a teen magazine from 2006 that had special guest magazine editor hilary duff they should do it again in 2025 these trends look great

all of these seem apt but the "new romantic revival" seems way off. none of conan or chappel's fashion are actually new romantic-inspired or adjacent. the modern examples in the video seem like a continuation of 2010s and early 2020s trends to me more than anything else. last year your video said that "indie sleaze" will be making a return. are we supposed to disregard the concept of linear progression? why are we so desperate to slap a retro label on everything?

Acid wash was only punk for a year and immediately became far too 'basic' my mum was very punk/alt and she still can't stand acid wash because she sees it as very bogan (aussie word for like redneck/chav) and preppy
