All of my boots have "beer" marks. Ooops! Thanks for the vid.
ОтветитьThe 'last' is 4497S
ОтветитьYou sound exactly like andrew robertson, are u irish???
ОтветитьHi, how many centimetres is actually the size 10 ?
ОтветитьHi,
I'm trying to figure out size.
May I ask what size you wore in Dr Martens.
Are the trickers similar size wise? Length width etc.
Thanks!
I wear 9 wolverine boots slightly tight but length is very good do you recommend go 9.5 for trickers
ОтветитьHow old were these at the time of the video? The Dainite is almost worn down - wondering how quickly this happened
ОтветитьU can trash cheap products, but don't buy a high dollar product and trash em without proper care. Would U buy a Bentley or Rolls but only service them once in 50K miles of driving?
ОтветитьI've got same boots (black) and i find that Dainite soles aren't very lasting as i thought. (As you also show on the vid).
ОтветитьI have these.
ОтветитьSo I got some of these yesterday, but unfortunately they are going back. I am devastated as I was so looking forward to finally having some. I never thought of myself as having a particularly broad foot, or a particularly high instep, but I could hardly get them on, and when I did (with regular socks) they were VERY snug, uncomfortably so, and it felt as though there was a knife pressing into my instep on both sides. The reason for this, I found, is that for some reason there is an additional row of stitching at the base of the tongue which restricts the width. If that hadn't been there, I might have possibly gritted my teeth and gone through the break-in process. As it is it would be torture. The funny thing is that I have a pair of redwing chukka boots which are the same size and in fact narrower when I compared the soles, but I can ONLY wear them with thick socks, otherwise I am sliding all over, and they are pretty much unwearable anyway as whatever I do the right boot slips at the heel and scrapes off the skin, even after a year of trying. Sorry if I sound like an old complainer, but all I want is a decent pair of boots that I can keep forever and do lots of walking in. After two disasters, I am hesitant to keep splashing out; it looks as though I am destined to keep wearing my trusty old North Face sneakers :)
ОтветитьHowdy...heads up..
Tricker's do a Stow boot variant called 'Malton'
Fit 6.
This is a wider fit specifically in the toe box area..
Fit 5 equates to F fiiting std
Fit 6 equates tstd fitting wide.
Alfred Sargent did a similar boot the 'Dumfries' FX 77 Last which FX was a wide fitting..
The rest i guess is trial & error..cus ya can't always get these items now in shoe shops..
Mainly factory outlets..
Good luck everyone but plenty of info can be found on forums on Internet to help ya gauge things..
Hefty price tag? Very cheap per wear, I'd say, considering you'll have them for life.
ОтветитьAren’t these meant to be a generous fit? I’ve heard a lot say to go down half a size. Good review by the way.
ОтветитьSeriously good boots worth the price
ОтветитьI own Trickers Stow x 2, Burford, Malton boots and 3 pairs of Trickers Henry the best a man can get in this price range
