If a person has mostly been " inauthentic" how can he realize he is not being authentic? He has never felt " weak" himself when speaking ! Stop that, and start reading good poetry and keeping a journal . Poets open possibilities for new sensatiotions ...and to ask and think differently.
" The book of disquiet" by Fernando Pessoa is a good reading for that, in my opinion.

Read , read and read. Keep a diary; do journaling regularly. Every day, if possiible. Make it a habit.

and why? because he is showing an original thought, and not just searching for excuses to be for or against something.

I respect Jordan Peterson, but here I think he is not experianced, I think he has a lack of understanding of the subconsious mind, because this idea of authenticity he is talking about is absoloute nonsense, we can not simply delete or distort other thoughts, we are a manifestation of information that is both ours and from the external, he is suggesting that we delete all external information and simply be ourself and cut everything else out? Thats stupid and unrealistic, might as well forget the language you speak because you didnt come up with it... This entire mindset in this video of his is flawed or not specific enough and people that watch this naively might have detremental effects, especially if they blindly accept what Jordan just said...

Yeah, that's a good question. I immediately thought, I know im being authentic because it hurts. I suppose, being inauthentic would hurt worse though. Maybe you'd get some sort of positive feeling being inauthentic though. Acceptance maybe.
