I've been doing 16 - 17 hour fasts for a week and a half now and still the ketone stick shows negative.
ОтветитьI started IF mid July. I’m down 28 pounds. I feel great. I have 15 more to go. Eating is a healthy and what nature gave us is a life style. Sugar is hard to give up but doable.

ОтветитьNot sure what I did wrg. Watched my first video last sat., got so excited I started fasting then and there. I fasted for 40 hrs. When I stopped, I ate protein and Vegs. I fasted 129 hrs. In total that first week. 40,17.5,19.5,24,19 eating "healthy" in between. I am same weight. I thought I would lose at least water weight.

Big comment of pure gratitude to you and your team! I have been ravenously consuming your curriculum since mid June this year. I’m 51 and have already gone through menopause however without your guidance I would never have been able to make sense of what I had just gone through over those past 5-6 years ! It was such a relief to understand what happened and why I was the way I was🙏 I have been enjoying the fasting lifestyle for just over 3 months, I have lost almost 25 lbs, I feel almost like my 40 year old self (which I believe was the best shape of my life) and it’s bc I stumbled upon your interview with Diary of a CEO! I have read all your books, gifted them to my family members and would love to assist in any efforts you create to bring this message to our young women before they hit puberty!!! This is the education women need in order to avoid all the pitfalls that we have gone through. It dosent have to been painful if we can educate way ahead of time!

I’m currently on day three of a 5 day fast. My question is if I take MCT and Olive oil with Himalayan salt and some supplements (magnesium, Vit D, iron, Vit A) which I take normally, will they break my fast???

ОтветитьHi Dr Mindy after breaking my back in 5 places I have lost 8kg in 10 weeks. I am a type 2 diabetic insulin and diet controlled. When I do my fast and I need glucose jellybeans to bring up my levels to around 5 do the jellybeans cancel out or interrupt the fast?

You mentioned Walnut butter a while ago - we do not have that product in SA, what are your thoughts on Macadamia nut butter?
ОтветитьHi Mandy, is running ok to do when fasting as I often get a headache/ feel sick if I don’t eat. Obviously I do drink lots of water and normally would have food beforehand. I go in the morning when I’m meant to be fasting so….? Thank you, Natalie
ОтветитьHi, could you please tell me when I am out of my fast, am I still to stick to strict keto. I have done several 16/8 hour fasts. I was not experiencing much weight loss. I tried a 36 and a couple 20 hour fasts. There are only a couple things that are questionable. I use munk fruit sweetener in my coffee during fasts. During the off fast time I add sugar free creamer to my coffee. Weeks have gone by and I have only lost 3 lbs. do you think that these two things could be the culprit?

ОтветитьOkay- Thanks, but I do not understand... I am rushing into this so as a newbie (day 4) - this is amazing so I saved this video for next month. I every 3-4 months so technically do have a cycle at 58 I start with your app from the bood (moon cycle) and I am in 1-10 days blood sugar is down to 97 (yeah) - during my 8 hr window I can only get 2 meals in because I am no longer hungry but I feel nourished. I will keep this up until I understand more. 😀

You said fermented yogurt it is just the normal yogurt or do you get fermented yogurt ,i know i sound silly but here in South Africa i didn't come across fermented yogurt before
