How to Install Mods on Fallout 4 in 2021 the EASY way using VORTEX

Still not working , when I check it in in-game mods load order section it's not enabled even though it shows enabled in vortex.

Hi there! My Fallout 4 Nexus mods loaded via Vortex do appear in game, but are inaccessible, they appear to be in mod load order in game but are disabled (I am unable to access them in game)

And where can i find this vortex thing? God this video sucks. The second video i found showed the exact location. Don't know why nexusmod is hiding this shit. Even searching for it shows no results.

I'im new to modding outside of Playstation and new to PC in general. With this method do I still need to go into [Documents] -> [My Games] -> [Fallout ] and mess around with the files? I found a guide from IGN which is from 2015 and using the old Mod Manager. I wasn't sure if this method still applied with the new Vortex manager.
FIles are (bEnableFileSelection=1) under ARCHIVES and something to do with string in another file

Skyrim works perfectly... but Idk wtf up with fallout on vortex.. at least for steam deck... ive set it up the exact same way I did skyrim, and it just refuses to show any of my mods. They're all enabled and deployed, but don't show up in the game. Ive tried every fix... every single tutorial under the sun. None of them work.

some of the mods I downloaded dont load? like it downloads and it shows as enabled in vortex but in the game its disabled and even if I enable it after exiting to the main menu its disabled again. What do I do with it?

I just subscribed. You help me with a problem that I couldn't figure out. It wasn't downloading F4SE. And you said you can do it from your files by clicking mods than install from file an bam 1 second later it was installed. Dude I was trying to figure it out for like 3 hours. Thank you so much

oh man i really struggled at first using vortex because i was used to nmm and didn't know i had to launch the game from within vortex. this tutorial saved so much time and frustration

hello i need help. so i already had like 20 mods installed but through the mod browser from in the game and i wanted better mods so i went to nexusmods and i followed what you did in the video but when i launched the game and tried to continue from my save it said all my mods were missing so i went back to the mods i installed from inside fallout and enabled them all one by one and now when i try to launch fallout 4 from inside vortex like in the video it crashes immediately. what do i do?

I have mods installed from in the mods section in game, got frustrated with not being able to install certain mods and downloaded vortex, is there a way to add the mods I already have installed into vortex?

Having a problem though, i have some mods installed, but some just wont enable when i try to enable them in the mods section in the main menu, i enable them back out so it reloads the files then when i check the mods section to see if their enable they arent, its like they refuse to enable, anyone got a clue? PS! i do have a cracked version but i have 15 mods working just fine

Am I the only one having trouble adding Fallout 4 to managed games? It doesn't show the base game, only Fallout VR.

Do you still need to add the Archive validation in the .ini files in fo4 docuemnts or no? I have a baked, based, and config fo4custom.ini files(3 total fo4custom.ini file types, not sure which one to edit for archive validation if still need to do this step before or after mods added)? Any info would help, thanks!
