I subcribed to Joe a couple of years back knowing he was Canadian and enjoy his love of fishing. I recently decided I wanted to take up wood carving ...sitting beside the fire...that is when I found Dougs channel...this morning I got a recommend for this video..wow..two of my favorites together...awesome

I see you don't paddle in line so a monster PIKE won't snag all three one after another! Nice storm. Used to live in Red Wood forest. Friend was going to work when a jet stream dipped and toppled Redwoods! One fell across his engine and slammed the block into the ground. It was easy for him (beat up stopping instantly) to get out. He waited for help and was late to open his Pharmacy. He was mostly walking wounded but with his weight, it was a long recovery. Martin

I still enjoy seeing you add a stick to your freeze dried meal to get that Anthony Bourdain twist. You are a notch above sir. And I am compelled to tell you that the only other Doug I have known in my life was an animated Doug on PBS (where I worked 3 times in my life as an engineer and master control operator). At least 5 years each time... The real Doug is much more fun than the animated Doug. :) Now that I think about it, I don't know any Joes either. You guys expanded my world.. Guess that's what I get in Kansas! But I have moved to Alaska 3 times, and Austin once to work for Willie Nelson. I just ordered my 1st Mountain House lasagna from Amazon...laughing like Santa.. all the way.
