Inmates are humans too. Come on!!!! We need to make things easier for majority of them when they get out. (There are exceptions) Employers and houseing shouldn't be able to discriminate. For the ones that are doing the right things.

This story is false story listen the time she got she would of got it anyway this is why people don’t change the courts knew that not only saved one deputy but two deputies not to mention the fact that she is now labeled no good to her fellow inmates and no matter whatever pod prison she goes to she can positively get killed knowing this the judge only gave her that they should be ashamed of this what did she gain she didn’t have to put her name on the line hey deputies you two women should of at least put money or something on her books if it wasn’t for her u wouldnt be alive today

The cynic inside me says "oh, she only did it because she knew she could get her sentence reduced," but then I remember that most people, even prisoners, are just addicts or people who got in a bad situation and just got sucked further and further in by life's situations, and aren't bad people at all.

You have recognize the difference between career criminals and people who just got sucked in by circumstance and one mistake, one that anyone might take. As long as other's aren't physically harmed, the law should be applied leniently to such individuals.

I don't want to sound pessimistic, so I'll try to be realistic. It sounds like the only way they realize the criminals can be good people is when the cops have problems. I'm not saying this is always the case. But that's certainly what it sounds like.

not every addict is a bad person. i have a close friend since teenage years addict now. has helped me with anything. from my business, to my house, was there when i got married, etc. i care less what others say hes always been there. i have to for him. thats all that counts. he aint perfect, he has his struggles, but hes a darn good human being. i always have and will stand up for him
