Appreciate how thorough yet concise all of the information is.
The spot on Rag is always my go to. Especially if I'm starting fresh on that map and looking to get resources for a motorboat base. Haven't had a chance to try a Strider yet, but now I know that they can be very handy there!
Thank you for the info!! I didn't see the phoenix though. I know they drop both silica and black pearls..
ОтветитьGreat job Crabby. Another good spot is the ab cave on lost island. Easy pick. Or stryder on gen 2 space biom(but you have to wait for the proper space wave) but angler on ci is best
Ответитьa lot more info than i thought would have been in this guide. awesome work keep it up
ОтветитьBy far the best guide out there! I love how you give us all the options for harvesting, and difficulty. I didnt know about the diplodude. Worth taming one for sure! If i might add, taming a gacha with y-traps will give you a 98% taming effectiveness and taming is way faster than stone ( my patience could never lol ) and feeding them those will give the most crystals as well imo.
ОтветитьNice timimg i just kill my first boss and unlock some tek
ОтветитьWow! Your guide is SUPER comprehensive! Another great addition to the Crabby Science library!
ОтветитьWorst map to get black pearls is fjorger
ОтветитьThanks for cutting through all the nonsense and making this easy to understand.
ОтветитьFor gachas on Vanaheim if you wait in the area for about 5 minutes they will start dropping crystals, go around and pick up the crystals until you find a crystal that has the resource that you want to make sure you check the level that dropped the crystal before you pick them up. Once you get the resource you want then find the gacha with the same level and tame it.
Ответитьyou actually know what you are doing. . . thank you
ОтветитьYour resource videos are always a godsend. I forget literally everything about what I can get where in the months between playing jags, especially things like poly and pearls, and you're my go-to for reminders. <3
ОтветитьGreat video. With the Genesis 2 space pearls I use a Stryder with a linked dedicated storage and then run circles on one floating island. In an hour before it warps out I get maybe 900 black pearls. The per node yield is low but because your always harvesting it adds up.
ОтветитьThis was really helpful, thanks crabby :)
ОтветитьI have played ark since sc was released and had no idea the dolphin topor thing
ОтветитьYou forgot the Magamasour Cave in Fjordur. There are a lot of black pearls to collect there but is Dangerous because you have to be in the Magmasour’s grill to get them. Although, it is substantially easier when you get a Desmodus.
ОтветитьGreat guide, Thanks crabby ! Enjoying the crown series hah
ОтветитьThanks Crabby I will get some gatcha’s when I can. I play ARK on the switch and extinction comes out in March I can’t wait❤
ОтветитьThank you for this. I just started my boss fight grind in the ark worlds and trying to make tek stuff for the first time. Ive played ark for a while but never gone for boss battles or anything. But now i am and also going for all the achievements before ark 2 comes out.
Ответитьplay for like 300 days on the island with out go in the sea😅but now i have to.the horror😬
ОтветитьGreat video Crabby. I just wanted to mention the sino and its weight reduction. Although it looks like it halves weight it actually halves it again when on your back.
Naked character weight 0.0
Plus one stack of black pearls 400
In sino 200.
Character with sino on back is 100.
You can also access the sino while on a mount and even with scuba by using the long press of whatever the tek helmet options button is, square on PS.
sinos are awesome :)
Can the perls in crystal be harvested by hand?
ОтветитьThis was EXACTLY what I needed, thank you.
ОтветитьIs this 1x?
Ответитьthx
ОтветитьMy #1 source of BPs are decaying dedi boxes :)
My #2 are other tribes' laggy gacha towers. Bring your own stone, drop it in front of gachas so they pick up and start producing. Do this when tribe is offline.
Getting Black Pearls was a huge progress bottleneck for me in Ark
Element was much easier to get than this stuff.
Brilliant video, thanks for goin to the effort of making it it really did help me as a noob to ark 😊
ОтветитьHmm i didn't know about CI... I got some bred and imprinted anglers that were obtained while cave dinos were tameable when fjordur was released and they are lvl 1496. I really need to try them out.
Ответитьnoice
Ответитьi killed a mossa with a thyla and no amour
ОтветитьJust bring a giga underwater they don't sleep for long
ОтветитьBruh frogs can't attack underwater unless if that's a mobile thing
ОтветитьJust to say it also can work with using a basilisk. Since they have a much higher weight capacity, you can be much more efficient using the rock drake/basilisk duo. Rather then using just one or the other.
ОтветитьThanks for abosulety not showing where any of these locations r
ОтветитьCI black pearl farm should be labelled as easy. Throw a basi in the sphere on aggressive. Then ride your angler around in peace
ОтветитьI just killed an alpha Mosa and got 0 pearls
ОтветитьThank you, very detailed and great explanation.
ОтветитьAlpha mosa no longer drop pearls they only give prime meat now
ОтветитьAnyone else watch this just because her voice is so relaxing? haha thanks for the tips too!
Ответитьvery helpful thank you
ОтветитьI've been searching the ocean for about three days farming 5-20 pearls at a time(full run) from those little fart crabs in the ocean and there's a dang lake! Haha thanks for the help!
ОтветитьOh nevermind not The Island its Lost Island lol
ОтветитьIn Fjordur. In the Lava Island there is a trench with Wyvens which leads to the an area with those lava dinos, bats and bugs. Fly through that and left to the end of the cave. At the back there is a pillar made of crystal. There is a safe enough spot behind that to build a metal base. Using the Personal head stone mod and a bed you can spawn in there. It really helps if you dumped points into health, stamina and speed. The Bridge in that lava dino nest area is more or less safe too. This nesting area spawns in 200 black pearls minimum and they spawn on the floor quickly and this involves a lot of dodging and jumping around. I'm currently at 5k black pearls. This area also gives you access to those huge lava dino eggs. Which you can use to tame basilisks.
To acquire infinite basilisks, built a metal cage boat with a ramp on it leading up into the cage, about 2 or 3 high just smash it into beachs on lava island and get those snakes to chase you into it, but be aware of the lava dinos who can shred your metal boat. Dump your now easily gotten apex predator eggs into the cage boat and get basilisks to chase you. I own 9 high level Basilisks. The biggest dangers in the lava nest are the Bats and Fire elemental giant dudes. Once you get the pattern down Black Pearls are no longer rare.
As a solo player these methods are extremely difficult the first method is the only method i use the absolute monstrosity of a grind to get everything you need do be ready to go to the ocean bp should be found in shallow water just like the white pearls
ОтветитьAww . I'm too scared to dive in the sea f*ck 😂😂.
ОтветитьI really regreted using all my early game stock of black pearls on a camera for canvases... THAT DOESN'T WORK on asa xbox 😢
ОтветитьArk really doesn't want you to have them on the island or scorched. 😭
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI’m on my way to searching for Black Pearls and I feel that I have to go for Alpha Tusos and Mosas. So how well would a Megalodon fair?
I have a 201 Lv one with high attack and health, as well as a few tamed Anglers, would I probably need more Megs to fight one? It seems that underwater Alphas are stronger then ones on land.
