Hi Abby! I started with alopecia areata at age 5, into totalis at 18, & then universalis when I turned 21. I am now 46 and still don't have the confidence and bravery that you do with it and I have to say, I envy you! I have worn every style, length and color made, but never with confidence and to watch you be so public is very inspiring! Kudos girl!!❤️

Is there specific websites that you shop on for your wigs

So I know this video is a little old but I was wondering, how do you secure your wig down to your head? I'm almost completely bald with sporadic hairs here and there so that's my main concern when researching different wigs.

I naturally have dark ash blonde hair, which shade do you recommend to try on? I don't want people to notice that i'm wearing one or even that i changed my hair color. Btw you look really pretty in all of them.

I'm kinda curious why you don't wear RHH (real human hair) its easier to work with and it doesn't cost "thousands" for a decent one either.
I'd love an update to this video to see the progress of what you know now vs. then. And to see if your wig styles have changed ^_^

I disagree that monofilament wigs are the only option. First, for any one living outside of United States, the price of your monofilament wigs are easily $100 -$ 200 higher than the American price. We pay for international shipping, customs, dollar exchange. Most retailers don't honour sales, coupons or discounts with non U.S. shoppers. A non monofilament René of Paris can cost me over $200. For me, that is an expensive price. And that's just a wig with no monofilament!

So not every person wearing wigs has access to the U.S. prices Americans pay. I have alopecia and although I enjoy a mono cap, I can't afford them. Honestly, most people either don't realise we are wearing wigs. Or, conversely, they DO notice as they see our artificial brows and lack of real lashes and they assume or see we are wearing a wig. I think monofilament wigs or custom made suction wigs are just as obviously a wig on a person with AU as is a cheaper non mono wig.

You look beautiful in all of them. I really like the braids on you it looks so summery and natural.
