Well Technically, a correction isn't required on paint that is in bad shape. You can still apply it on there and will be just fine so its not required. Its more like "recommended" to correct the paint.

I had a paint correction and ceramic coating installed the other day. There are massive swirls from previous car wash scratches still. They used a paint pen and half a$$ed repaired it but actually newly chipped my brand new hood. There was also paint missing where my license plate vibrated and rubbed through. They didn't even remove the plate. It cost me $1500!

So I assume you really should fix any paint chips as you can't touch up once the ceramic coating is on the car.

Has anyone ceramic coated a car then put protective film and then added another layer of ceramic coating. Seems like this would have you car or truck super shiny for all time.

Yeah unfortunately Tutle wax’s nano ceramic coating is eliminating the need for professionals lol. Gives the same result for waaaaay cheaper cost.

If you are getting a new car get a coating immediately. Like make it part of the buying process. Get the car and drive it straight to a detailer. New car paint is becoming insanely thin and is close to making correction impossible.

This just goes to show me how much some people baby their vehicles compared to others - such as myself, I just use a wash and wax mix and that's good enough for me since I live in the rust belt and well I am only willing to do so much to stave off the inevitable rust.

You need spray cermic like material tomkeep and seal the hydrophobic coating and protect the ceramic through time.

Silicon is a contaminant that you would never want to paint over. It would be good if you did this video without being sponsered.

As soon as I saw the Tesla I knew that was a waste... the car itself is trash so why bother when it's probably a lease and after you realize Telsa is trash you pray the leas is up so you can escape it for a real EV or a real vechicle
