ОтветитьGood to see a young guy playing tenor jazz banjo, and so well. It's been close to being a dying art.
ОтветитьFormidable ..
ОтветитьYou’re rad man!!!! I was debating on what kind of banjo to get and I’m stuck on the tenor now. Thank you for posting 😁✌🏽

ОтветитьUnbelievable playing! Does anyone know what kind of plectrum is used for this style of playing?
ОтветитьThat's really great! Do you know where I can get tab for tunes like that? Chicago tuning?

My dad played this on his banjo. Bless you for sharing.
I was considering the banjolele because banjos are bigger. But man, I love tenor banjos too 😂😂 nice tune!

Ответитьhad to put my banjo down and listen. don't think i will ever play again lol.
that was awesome
Cool!
ОтветитьWonderful! You sound so great, and you are so young! You make it seem so easy! Keep on picking my friend! Love to you! :)
I happen to own a 1920's Epiphone Recording A. It has been battered quite a bit. I had to rebuild the resonator, and it has a bear claw tailpiece which i don't think is original. A peculiar thing about it, is that it seems to be of an early enough date that Epiphone had not really finalized their design yet. My best guess is 1926. Great sounding banjo -i just wish i had a right hand that could play it! 5-string is so much easier for me! :)
Sounds like Dixieland me
ОтветитьOf the numerous tunings available, which are you using on this tune?
Ответитьtoo fast
ОтветитьWow are you professional ! Great arrangement and I haven't heard a tenor banjo played like that in forty years. Thanks.

ОтветитьAbsolutely love it. As a drummer of 30+ years, I recently acquired a Bacon & Day tenor. Can’t wait to embark on my banjo journey.
ОтветитьWhoa! An absolutely magnificient job. I'm in awe ... and I play banjol
ОтветитьI've finally been able to buy a tenor banjo after many years of searching for a deal. I finally bid on one on Ebay and got no other bidders. It's a bit low rent compared to this one. It's unbranded which is weird. It might be handmade. But it works alright. I'm happy with it.
ОтветитьExceptional.
