Well pleased for you, Nice one!
ОтветитьCongrats on the new shop pal.
Look forward to some cool projects 👍
Can’t believe the cost of them parts unbelievable, should be a good one can’t wait to see what you decide to do, good luck with the workshop it’s perfect 👏😎
ОтветитьWish you all the success
ОтветитьGreat daily! Grats on the new workshop!
ОтветитьWell done! Continue to film when things go wrong. That’s what make your videos interesting and realistic.
ОтветитьI think the Merc is a slow burn (I'm guessing you will dip in and out working on it, while waiting for parts, fixing the rust issues, body work). Keep it and upload vids as and when you have done work. Then, to keep content flowing on the channel, get other "interesting" car(s) which are a quicker turn around for the channel.
ОтветитьThat is an absolutely badass looking car.
ОтветитьGood to see you have help from a cat !
ОтветитьSure it ain't a ringer
ОтветитьBeen watching your video on getting the Benz running 👍👍. What do you do with the cars you finished 🤔🙏👍👍
ОтветитьSell kit and wheels spend the cash on making it a standard sl l but mint
ОтветитьSuperb detective work. I miss my old W124s so much and those little black relay boxes brought it all back
ОтветитьOi from Brasil, i love watching your videos keep up with the good work!! 🫡🇧🇷🇧🇷
Ответитьfix it
Ответить“Where that even mount in here, like this , right here, right here?” Absolutely killed me. Great watch, new subscriber !
ОтветитьWell done mate just proof that if you have determination and drive you can achieve your goals
ОтветитьSell it on for the wheels and kit and the motor and trans get your money back the rust will suck any value left in it invest it in you family
Ответитьi must say, paying 2500 for car that was going to scrap is really a lot.
ОтветитьGreat channel! Good job 🇪🇪🇪🇪
ОтветитьIf it looks like a dog barks like a dog smells like a dog its probably an amg
ОтветитьThe joy on your face when you showed us the workshop.. priceless! keep up the good work!
Ответитьlooks like m103 and if im right there is no 3.2 m103 and yeah i was right my dad had 4 mercs of this era 3 with m103 1 with m104
Ответитьtake the kit off it n see just how bad the body is. if it looks like too much of a job, refurb n sell the kit, refurb the wheels an sell those, sell any thing else you can pull out of the old barge. real shame tho coz at first i was thinking, hmmmmm amg v8 swap.
congrats on the new workshop, also new sub here, looking forward to see what comes next.
Congratulations
ОтветитьPlease keep this s class 300,it a very good car l used to own three of this.
ОтветитьSell as it is
ОтветитьNice that!
ОтветитьThis channel should have at least 187000 subs, lots watching, more subscribing. Fun channel
ОтветитьWell done on the new workshop. Sell the parts and get a lift.
ОтветитьHappy for you mate. Hope it all works out for you. I certainly keep watching.
Ответитьlike it unit looks good congrats on going full time
ОтветитьI really enjoy your videos, but this new format of long videos doesn't work that well for me. I prefer to get 3 videos of 20 minutes, than a one hour video.
1h 30m videos? That's a movie!
Anyway, I hope it works for you!
the merc is to far gone make a profit and move on cheers
ОтветитьCongrats, looking forward to greater challenges
ОтветитьGoing to install lift?
ОтветитьFree play in those throttle pedals is normal, they shouldn’t be too tight.
Secondly, for optimum idle mixture adjustment, it’s best to warm the car to operating temp first. If you have duty cycle on your multi meter and you can measure the reading of the lambda sensor via the round diagnostic terminal in the engine bay using ports 3 and 2. You can interpret mixture based on its o2 reading. 50% is what you’re looking for and your mixture is good but the car needs to be fully warmed up. Search for duty cycle w126 on the forums, very detailed explanations out there. Good luck

I think this car deserves a full restoration to its former glory but that wouldn't be economically viable (pun intended)
Ответитьwell son ..a bit new to this ..but just seen the video on the range rover.. have to say just so much fun ..iam not going to buy a ticket has i dont need other car but what iam going to do is give £100 to the charity .i hope you make a million and give your family a good life
ОтветитьOnly recently found your channel, awesome to see you get your own workshop 👍
ОтветитьNice job! Just save the car by repairing/ replacing what is needed. I think it will worth, but you decide.
Or you can just sell it for parts in order to save other cars, because I know when dealing with rust is expensive and time consuming.
I think your business model of finding restoring and then raffling off the cars to fans is a great idea. It kind of fits the old "Flipping Bangers" and the "Wheeler Dealers" series but with your singular twist. Now go get a steam cleaner/power washer and parts cleaner.
ОтветитьCongrats
ОтветитьResto mod with LS swap perhaps?
ОтветитьI watched the full video without fast forwarding. Most enjoyable. Sell the merc and recover your losses. You really don't want your new workshop choked with the old merc. 👍
ОтветитьGreetings from Washington State, of the Former Colonies. Refurbish it back to it's former glory and keep it as your prized daily driver, a trophy as it were, to your success and new shop. Your son would be looking good cruising with you and your wife in Mercedes style.
ОтветитьI just want to say thanks for all the great comments and the well wishes. The channel is getting to the point where I can no longer respond to most of the comments like I used to, but I just want you to know that I read and appreciate them all!
