Diluc was the first 5 star I got and I still use him in my team to this day

I main Diluc and cleared every abyss 12 so far. He is not a joke.

If Diluc has 1 million players, I am one of them
If Diluc has 1 player, that is me
If Diluc has no players, that means I am no longer alive.

I am a Diluc main he is the guy i use to beat all hard bosses and domains so easy to use very tanky and so strong if you build him effortly.. I also have wanderer and other 5 stars characters but i mostly play him whenever bosses and enemies are strong

Diluc is still extremely important because the banner system is broken. I only started playing halfway through Hu Tao's 2023 rerun, and didn't know what comp I wanted while Yoimiya was running. Now I know Yoi would be perfect for my Vape team, but until she runs again (probably in a year at this rate) Diluc is available across all banners, lets me build out artifacts that can be moved to another pyro DPS, and his Normal+Skill weaving is fuctional and satisfying.

Nobody plays him because he's not on event banner. That's literally it. If he was on an event banner people would play him.

The only reason I don’t use Diluc is because I refuse to farm and he dies too fast for me

he's been carrying me for a year now.

I started this game back in 1.0, and Diluc came to me on the Beginner Banner without rerolls. I still remember being so excited to have pulled "the best character in the game" and have mained him ever since. I bought the Battle Pass just so he would have a good weapon in R5 Serpent Spine (daily play since 1.0, still no Wolf's Gravestone), I spent my rainy day Welkin Genesis Crystals on his snazzy outfit and hairdo, and I just got C4 last week or so. I was SO happy to see more damage on my man, and had to immediately practice properly spacing out his Searing Onslaughts.

I will never stop maining Diluc; the nostalgia and attachment is just too strong. I consistently get 33-36 Stars in the Abyss, and any combat events that are harder than that offer even less, like a paltry amount of Mystic Enhancement Ore and a Mora. In short, I've nothing left to prove, and thus Diluc being powercrept by Hu Tao doesnt bother me anymore – my redheaded Batman and I have Fatui to slay.

If players have played Tales of Abyss that revolves around reactions, seeing the playstyle of Genshin Impact reactions pretty much tells you it was meant to be team centric instead of solo characters. It's all about nuking with reactions.

Why would, for instance you have been combining Diluc and Barbara to to create elemental reaction, and then to be fair using I don’t know, Lisa, or somebody else to make another elementally reaction when it’s beneficial, and then, at one of the travelers, for the Swirl thereby increase the damage even more did not exist back then is that a newer concept I mean I don’t understand I I personally think for from of let’s say a simplicity sake not getting too complicated with like general reactions where you got a put on three different I mean I get it. Some people are try hard and they want to get the most out of it so far, a dental reaction and then add a Swirl on top you know then you really doing something but me if I can get a melter a vaporizer something going on and then a Swirl with the traveler plus you know once you have the right set in your deep buffing at the same time why wouldn’t you be working toward that kind of put gameplay and tell Dentro Bandra came out and now people are looking at those really complex reactions but I’m pretty sure vaporize melt those are still really high up on the elemental reaction, tier list and then you only help the situation by swirling

Wait a minute Barbara above Bennett I admit I don’t remember when the game came out. I played up the first starter characters to level 20 and that’s about all I did in and then didn’t come back for Phil recently but I can’t imagine it any time. thanking Barbara was more useful than Bennett or even more useful than Diluc. The only thing Barbara really has gone for is applying water not making shit wet and healing.

Id like diluc more if there were 2 zhonglis. But zhongli is busy protecting my ganyu
