No, the dial on the side of a toaster does not indicate minutes of toast time

I have never thought that the dials meant minutes, I've never heard of this before.

Thank goodness I haven't been wrong about this! I think the only "toasters" with a per minute dial vs doneness dial are actually toaster ovens.
