I finally found a MOTOVLOG setup for CLEAN audio & video

I would like to see a modular helmet setup

Your voice is really clean but I think it could be better if you can also hear the exhaust a little louder but I think it's just my personal preference 😊

I’ve watched so many videos on a good Moto log setup my head is spinning and I’m ready to say f this. I don’t like full face helmets I wear a Bell 3/4 so it’s been especially challenging to get decent audio without having to scream. I made a video using a go pro 10 with the media mod, using the back camera and the camera is on a neck mount and it was ok. I tried a full face with a gaming mic and got all kinds of snap, crackle, pop so ditched that. . (Had I seen your video first I would have bought this Mov instead)

Lali, thank you so much for discussing about a trusted mic in so much detail. I've had so many issues with the various lavalier mics that I used and I had given up hopes of getting a mic which wouldn't leave a hole in my pocket! I have read a lot of positive reviews for the Movo ACM400 microphone (on Amazon) that you recommended and I'm finally going to try one out to test it! best wishes from India!

I am using the 9 with media mod and had the axact same experience with the purple panda... hours of ADV riding the BDR's ruined because that mic got wet or something and started cracking

ive literally just lost about 2 to 3 motovlogs due to audio issues and currently trying to work that out figuring is it the microphone or the adapter for the gopro idk

Wanted to thank you for this video. I ended up using the GoPro Media Mod and the same microphone and I LOVE this set up. I'm using a Shoei helmet.

I came upon this video as I just purchased a zoom H1n and a purple panda and I've been underwhelmed with the result. Followed all the ideas and settings others have used and I feel like my voice sounds choppy/shaky and robotic. Think I'm going to try the Media Mod and your mic this time around.

Even though your video has been out for a year, thank you for it. We also have a channel for my son who has Down Syndrome and I cannot find a mic that works and yes, I too bought a purple panda. I just ordered the mic you use. I will give you a shout out when it comes in and I record. My son rides everywhere with me

would be so great to see where the mic actually is. there are various places ppl usually stick it but SEEING just where it is producing audio this good would be rad.. my audio is still a little windy, damn race helmet /sighhhhh haha

The problem is that all the GoPro's from the 9 till now, are horrible. They overheat, they shut down, even when they are in direct wind, they are just nothing but problems. GoPro really needs to go back to the drawing board, because their design is horribly flawed.

The sad part, is that when they work, the footage is amazing... But I had so many hours of video on the street and track, ruined because the camera would be in direct airflow at triple digits, and overheat.

I spent hours on the phone with customer service, and they said that was normal and to "fix it", I couldn't use 4k60, I had to limit it to 30fps. Yes, I confirmed that with her supervisor, that was their "recommended fix". To run your 120fps camera at only 30fps.

Apparently, 60fps and up is only really an option in the winter time, or in water, so it can keep cool...

How tf were you able to get your glasses in your helmet 😭 I had to drop a size, from medium to small to get a good fit and I couldn’t get my glasses on with the medium

your mic is so quiet like in the wind noise area. mine has a lot of wind noise i probably needa get a chin gaurd or something
