Hey Kevin, I am really liking @MotoJitsu. Really good young teacher. Thanks for these suggestions!
ОтветитьI smiled when your list nearly matched my own, but I still consider your sage advice the gold standard. Thanks for being such a reliable source of knowledge for beginner riders (like me).
Ответитьlove your site and the sites you highlighted. I also really think @@UC7cTUIwR1FuvMplHdHNDGug has some of the best real world road situational information out there. No redundant parking lot info...
ОтветитьAs a newbie to the MC scene, the first person I found was you! then I started looking around and I found Dan Dan the fireman, and doodle on a motorcycle. Both have been so helpful thank you! I plan on looking up all the other things you have suggested like Ryan fort nine Moto jitsu and Jerry paladino he's the man.
Thank you for the suggestions but you will always be number one on my 'go to' learn how to be a better MC Rider.
What is fun about watching Doodle is the same excitement you can get from watching somebody experiencing something for the first time, and who says you can't learn from someone who makes mistakes, I've learned a few things that I forgot just from watching her mistakes and watching her learn.
ОтветитьI have watched the first 4 since before I started riding, and recently found Doodle. I frequent DDFM and MCRIder almost daily and was inspired by y’all. Hope to be able to link up and ride with you one day Kevin as I think that would be loads of fun!
ОтветитьI watch all of those channels. Being fairly new to bikes it's been great finding channels to help learn to maintain and work on my bike. I ride a 45 year old Honda CB750 so Hackaweek's CB750 build series has been really helpful. Some other channels I watch... Classic Octane, Shane Conley's How-to Wrench, MotorcycleMD, MatthewMCrepair, Common-Motor Collective, Delboy's Garage and Revzilla.
ОтветитьTo answer your question "What got you into riding?" That would be Evel Knievel! He got three of the five in my family into riding.
ОтветитьRobert Sommers....thank me when you get time!
ОтветитьItchy Boots . A great motorcycle channel
ОтветитьI like Canyon Chasers too.
ОтветитьAwesome content, new subscriber
ОтветитьCanyon chasers my fave
ОтветитьAri of MC garage and now of Rev zilla is also very good. I get many of my motocycle info from him. Very short but precise. 🔥✌👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThank you for all your videos learn a lot.
ОтветитьDoodle...really....shames your other must follow channels. 5 mins (generous here) of Doodle is painful. Thx all the same...but I'll pass that one. Other channels were already on my list and totally agree with your suggestions. Happy trails!
Ответитьi watched all 5 channels before
yours is the newest i found and i think i found your stop and go videos very informative
i heard here and there in videos and on books people talking about rear brakes and stability for stops
but only in your channel i found very instructional videos about how to stop correctly without losing balance
Hey Kevin! I usually watch your channel when I've seen WAY too many of Dan's "crash" videos and want a break. When I have questions about gear, chain lube or more "sciencey" stuff I hit up Fort Nine. Overall? I really appreciate your channel and posts, I know for a fact I've become a better rider because of what I've seen (and PRACTICED!) from your channel. Can't thank you enough!
ОтветитьHave learnt a lot from Dandan and motojitsu...anf offcourse you! Thanks!
ОтветитьPerfect list! Shows me I’m watching the right ones. And, Ryan Fortnine is AMAZING!
Ответитьpeople should check out yammie noob too and from my country the UK missendenflyer and spicy110
ОтветитьOnly a great instructor recognizes other great ones. Thanks for sharing.
Ответить‘..getting a knee down on the John’..😂
ОтветитьPedro Moto is great to watch for ADV and cross country riding
ОтветитьWish you would do video to were to ride or what position to ride at while going down the road, my friend newbie 3+ yrs riding Ike’s to hug the center line, I’ve told him he is gonna get killed hugging center line his reply but I feel like the shoulder is pulling me in
ОтветитьGreat video Kevin. I also watch Robert Simmons... “Preloaders”. But hey, you’re probably my fave.
ОтветитьI really think Everide.needs some recognition.
I like your list and most all of those I've seen mentioned in the comments.. so I guess I need more than five... :-)
Thanks Kevin. I already followed Jerry and Ryan. There are suggestions that come up on you tube but taking your recommendations will save me time trying to sort out the wheat from the chaff. I’m extremely busy and appreciate any time saved. I love your channel and appreciate your always calm and sensible demeanor. ❤️
ОтветитьWatch you and Jerry for safety vids, but several others in no specific order. Tim Kreitz, Pacific Mike, Scotty Kerekes, Officer Rob, Shadetree Surgeon, Itchy Boots, and a few others. There simply isn’t time for them all, but I catch what I can from them.
ОтветитьYour list is awesome and I am currently subscribed four of the five that you mentioned!
ОтветитьPro rider Central Texas is another channel I watch.
ОтветитьI've learned a lot from Robert Simmons - Paying It Forward. Heavy focus on slow speed skills from a retired NY motor officer
ОтветитьGreat list. Bret Takcs is great, especially if you are into adventure riding. He is the former host of MOTOTREK (sp?)
ОтветитьAll these guys you mentioned are cool. Jitsu is a great rider, but i have no interest in getting a knee down. Anytime or anywhere, to me hes geared more to the sportriders, I will never lane split, and ill never take any curve at 90 mph. Just a different demographic. Dan is all about crashes..meh..Jerry is straight forward, don't know the chick or the chain guy..to me, and i Keep saying it, we should all be more about enjoying our bikes, backroads whenever possible, less freeway riding, overall you're my guy, just less all the freeway riding. Thanks for all you do.
ОтветитьYammieNoob
ОтветитьIt would be great if car drivers could get the same level of training you get when you go for your open bike license. Love the videos!
ОтветитьRobert Simmons "Paying it Forward". He's a retired New York City Motorcycle Patrol Lieutenant, currently residing in Georgia. He specializes in slow speed motorcycle operations. He's down to Earth, easy going, but very passionate about "preloading and keepin' it loaded".✌🏽👍🏽
ОтветитьLove all except for DDFM. He was great at first, but he's given some questionable advice and admits that he rarely rides now. (Not to mention his regular & not-so-subtle jabs at some of the other phenomenal channels you shared here makes him seem like a bit of an asshole.)
ОтветитьThank you, Very unselfish sharing in the interest of truly helping those who seek life saving riding skills. With great respect, Thank you.
ОтветитьSubbed to all but the the first one
ОтветитьMoto Control is really good as well. He is an instructor in Russia and does some pretty incredible things.
ОтветитьRobert Simmons, Be the Boss of your Motorcycle.
ОтветитьI like Doodle, too. In addition to all the things you say, she seems like a very nice and friendly person. I wish I encountered more people like her every day.
ОтветитьI follow all of the people you mentioned. But I’m disappointed to not hear you mention Robert Simmons - “Be the Boss of Your of Motorcycle”. He’s teaches slow speed skills which may be the most critical riding skills needed to keep us safe and able to handle our bikes at a high level of skill. Check him out and reach out to have him on your show.
