This is why I think its so wrong for us to keep animals in a zoo. Almost any animal can be trained. From a goldfish, to a lion, every living thing has a soul and most have brains for them to learn. If scientists believe that humans evolved from monkeys (apes), why in gods name do we still treat them like dumb animals? I know a few humans that could definitely could be considered a dumb animal. but seriously, we pretty much keep our ancestors locked in cages and hunt down.. probably someday to extinction.

I was enjoying this video, just as a way of filling a little relaxing time (so not in an attempt to watch for scientific evidence OR errors….
And that went well….

Until I reached the Nr.1 entry….
And then this whole video, with all of its ‘nice-to-know-things’, came tumbling down like a giant rock and its content became absolutely USELESS AND INVALID!!!
Because if you introduce your ‘NUMBER ONE GENIUS MONKEY’……
And it turns out to be the most recognized APE (!) IN THE WORLD ….
And you DARE to call her: “Koko, the CHIMPANZEE’…..!!??!!’when EVERYONE KNOWS SHE IS A GORILLA….!!!!!

…..then you have not place to be making ANY video about apes OR monkey, nor about their behavior, because you EVIDENTLY DON’T HAVE A CLUE WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT….!!!

Clip 1 is brilliant. The Orangutan knows how to knot. Beautiful. Clip 2 is rewarded repetition. How the Capuchin was treated/taught is debatable? Clip 3 is an example of Darwin's theorem. Clip 2 watch the full documentary for a deeper insight to the learn reward system. Pidgeon do the same. Clip 3 Koko was astounding. They say smart like 3-5 yr old human... Smarter I think but horribly lonely like a women without her tribe and children.
