Good idea
ОтветитьJust add longer legs on your short feeders Increase from 10" long to 2' that should be wide enough they won't be able to knock them over
ОтветитьThanks for sharing the trough build. It was super helpful and enjoyable as always! I think my goats rain gutter is about done for. lol. its been standing for 10 years! Maybe if you put weights of some sort on or tied to the legs, or carabeanered them to something they won't tip the trough? I do also like to call my goats "goatee-goats!" haha. Saw you got cinnamons horns tipped off. how did you do it? Ive got to tip my new does horns at some point. Also, have you seen any action from the bucks yet? I need to catch up on your videos. Hope y'all have a great evening!
ОтветитьLove this. I have been looking into maybe doing this for our sheep so i loved watching this!!!!!! It will be something im going to look back on in the spring before our lambs come!
ОтветитьGood idea!
ОтветитьI think those little troughs will help alot..good job..God Bless
ОтветитьMike when hooking up that trailer you need to cross the safety chains ⛓
ОтветитьGreat video guys!
ОтветитьI would finish the ends and make it higher so the chickens and doggy and the goats won't paw at them - but good job !!!
ОтветитьI have to make some
Goat feeders soon I am sick of getting beaten by my goats 🤣
Love the the hop a long rooster. The troughs- seems like you could attach them to the outer wall of that shed like say 10 to 12 inches off the ground, then the goats wont try to step on them as if scratching for more. Additionally, maybe if they aren’t on opposing sides, they won’t feel the urge to buck or butt heads as much. Other than that, the trough beats the bowls horns ( hands ) down.
ОтветитьGood job y'all, we built our goat trough pretty much the same way. It's worked out well for us.
ОтветитьI love that you call the animals and they come
ОтветитьMike, why don't you just add a piece of 2"x4" maybe 24" long to each leg set on its edge to stabilize the trough. this would still allow the goats to eat from both sides. good luck!
ОтветитьHello from Minnesota. Pallet wood good for so many projects!
ОтветитьAwww! Grandma is too cute, nice job today 💖
ОтветитьGreetings from Florida! Good video. Blessings to you all.
ОтветитьHi guys
Jared Crocker had a one legged rooster named JJ he was a favorite on his channel till he died
I believe granny enjoyed her ride
Good build
I think that instead of bolting them to the fence, I would probably drill some holes into each leg and pound some rebar into the ground so they can't kick them over. Looks good though 👍😊
ОтветитьGood job everyone. The troughs look simple enough and are functional. Even the chickens seem to appreciate them. I was thinking something deeper, but if you don't need depth, that's great. The best part was they only cost time, screws, and possibly eye bolts. God bless.
ОтветитьAn L shape would prevent the goats from knocking it over
ОтветитьGood job, Myke. Looks like it works well. The animals are looking good. I love your dad's rooster! . I also love that your parents are there nearby. I know it means a lot to your family, as well as to them. God bless.
ОтветитьLooks good. You could make one side wider to help hook to the fence (if that's what Ed Kirkpatrick was saying) kinda like l_i (without the dot)
ОтветитьI also holler goatie goats when feeding
ОтветитьEating much better but still being goats.
ОтветитьSome of goats are bullies to the weaker ones
ОтветитьGood idea Mike for the goats 😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьHi Tonya and grandma 😁😁😁😁
ОтветитьDon't work too hard in that hot sun 🌻🌻🌻😎
ОтветитьI admire your father cuz didn't put the rooster down and kept him for a pet
ОтветитьPawpaw’s rooster sure is a beauty! Grammy is beautiful! Everybody should have a Grammy in their life. I’m a Grammy, but I never had near the beauty that she does. ❤️🙏
