I live 3 miles south of Akeley, Minnesota. I caught on my game camera right in my backyard a black wolf walking through our yard. I have not seen Black wolves either till then. That was about 2 weeks ago.

In my opinion black wolves are the most beautiful animals on earth 🥰.

Washington's west side (pierce county) has black coyotes in an area and they are red wolf size

Never seen a wolf in person, and I know they don't really live in Colorado. But I have seen tracks, they were wide and definitely not coyote. They were also not dogs because it was through a pass and there was no owner's prints. It was cool but scary cause it was so close to winter. I think about that often.
