I've been waiting for this video for so long 😭
ОтветитьHolly Sh&t! Subbed. (:
Ответитьamazing tutorial!! One question though.. With the EQ, can it cut out super high pitch bird noises? Next door has a really loud bird that is always being picked up from my mic. any tips would be great! Thanks!
Ответитьthe EQ is not showing up after I download it :(((
ОтветитьBEST VIDEO FOR DOING AUDIO
Ответитьjust did this, thank you =D
ОтветитьIf you were already aware, it might be a good idea to update the information for this video, if Reaper software was free then it is no longer free anymore
ОтветитьOkay, i recently had to get a new mic after my headset mic gave in, and i got a pretty cheep one, and ive been downloading so many programs from other video trying to make it sound really great and everything. I did the literal FIRST STEP and it made it 1000x times better, i cant believe it was so horribly simple, i feel bad about the hundreds of hours ive spent trying to get it to sound good. thank you good sir!
Ответитьive come back to this video so many times when i have changed my set up lol
ОтветитьSubscribed!
ОтветитьI dont get it. i have 130 euro mic but when i sing loudly it's so loud or atleast not loud but it goes to the red and it gets distorted. while this microphone is good for singing a lot of reviews about it
Ответитьinsanely good vid thanks a ton gonna tinker around and see how well it works out next time I go live
ОтветитьAwesome video! I do have a couple questions. I am using a fifine K688 XLR/USB combo and I am using the XLR side through the FIFINE SC3 ampligame mixer. Before you laugh at me let me just say I am a total rookie just starting out and I am on a bit of a budget.
#1. Do the audio mixer settings within OBS work on XLR mics or just USB? If not, should I just start using my mic through the USB connection until I can purchase an XLR mixer like the Wave XLR?
#2. Do you have a recommendation for VST plug in that is compatible with Macs? I am on an M1 MacBook.
Thanks in advance!
This is great and simple. I'll be streaming and recording from live events, but this will still help a lot. Can probably use a similar chain and settings for my video editing.
ОтветитьVery explanatory. Good job.
Ответитьi use headphone mic can u twll me how to make it batter?
ОтветитьThis helped a dozen, thanks
ОтветитьQuick note for those who had the trouble i did installing reaper. You must (if you dont already) create a folder named VSTplugins and install reaper to that file folder. If not you'll spend hours like i did trying to locate the plug ins.
Ответитьthank you for this video it helped so much setting up my microphone for conference calls
ОтветитьI have a Samsung mic and one thing I hate is that it sounds like my voice has a bass in it, when I hear other people it doesn’t sound like that. They sound more crispier
ОтветитьIs there a faster way to check you're own mic then just record ?
ОтветитьGreat easy to follow video and very informative. Helped me out a lot my audio is shocking in all my vids, i'm looking forward to seeing how I fare now with the changes and new mic (and boom arm that is coming tomorrow). 10/10
Ответитьwhere is your microphone as you are recording this video???
ОтветитьMuch appreciated!
Ответитьhow do i make it so i dont hear my fan in the back while im talking
ОтветитьI am using m1 Mac and am not able to use vet 2.x plug in. tried a lot of things nothing helped, if you could make a video on that we would really appreciate it.
ОтветитьSo thank you it helped me
ОтветитьIs a fifine T669 good or no?
ОтветитьWhen i downloaded the Vst 2.x Plug-in everything was alright until i needed to select a plug-in when i try to select one there is only one option that says {Please select a plug-in}
ОтветитьFor some reason the plug-in isnt capturing my audio, even though OBS is capturing my microphone audio. I have virtual cable and vm banana installed and use a scarlet audio interface that is my microphone audio source
ОтветитьI watched both videos really nothing changed just a slight echo was eliminated that was good other than that the mic picks up a pin dropping in the room next door.
ОтветитьYou're one of the few people on this platform who don't bs. Can't NOT subscribe
Ответитьany EQ for mac? i have the VST option in OBS but i dont find any plug in....
ОтветитьThis is the only audio guide that actually helped reduce my keyboard and mouse clicks in my video clips thank you so much
ОтветитьThis is a great video for non-RTX videos but if you add RTX noice canceling to OBS this is not needed at all.
ОтветитьCant you equalize the mic permanently outside of the streamer software? I'm guessing u can but on my phone rn so idk but it would be useful to talk to friends online aswell
ОтветитьThank you so much for this! Been doing a lot of trial-and-error with mic output, but I can still hear a bit of breathing and some background noise -- so frustrating. Will try out your tips! :)
ОтветитьSo that's what a compressor actually does. I do my post-processing through a different program than OBS, but this video still finally sorted that out for me and the mic sounds 100 times better. Thank you, seriously, I've been trying to figure this out for months... 😅😊
Ответитьcan we get an update on this video for the new obs
ОтветитьThis has been a really helpful video!
I'm a guitarist so I'm already relatively familiar with a lot of the 'filters' mentioned in this video, but I'm not used to applying them in a setting based around - idk, presentation of the human voice, I suppose?
You have a firm understanding of what these tools do and manage to explain it clearly & concisely with helpful examples.
Though, I should note the general purpose of a compressor is actually to make audio levels more consistent across the board. You're correct about what it does when something exceeds the volume you want, but compressors generally bring the lows up, too. I'm not sure how to properly configure the compressor in OBS accordingly, though. Based on your video, it does seem to target high peaks rather than actually compressing the overall signal in a consistent way.
Anyway, thanks for the video! This has been a big help!
The only good video about sound recording so far 👍
Ответитьthanks, that sounds really better now. I wonder if somehow I can transition all this to other applications, like Teamspeak?
ОтветитьGreat video, I had to use a noise suppressor because my blue yeti pro was catching sounds from 2 rooms away
ОтветитьYou look like Bobby Fischer
ОтветитьNo EQ option for Mac Users?
ОтветитьDo you need to download both plug ins? the 32 & 64 bit?
Ответитьgood video thx
Ответитьi got the Beyerdynamic 300 MMX Headset and the Soundcard Creative G6... if you disable the EQ your Voice sounds to me lil bit better and natural. With the EQ it sounds lil bit more artificially or how can i say... synthetic
ОтветитьI'm starting up a podcast some time next fall, so this is going to help out a lot.
