The HX711 isn't an amplifier. It's a serial output 24-bit A/D converter with a pre-amp. There are no amplifier output pins as you would have with an op-amp (i.e., the amplifier output is neither accessible nor useful for gain control). There are two pre-set gains on input A (64 or 128) and input B always has a gain of 32.
ОтветитьI've been looking everywhere for how to use just a single one, and you not only explained it but made some diagrams. Thanks!
ОтветитьMan, thanks a lot. Not many people that explain about loadcell such as the 3 wire loadcell. God bless you man
ОтветитьHi, I am using a one button load cell (Load Cell - 200kg, Disc (TAS606)) to measure weight, it has allready 5 wires, so I am just connecting it to HX711 to amplify the output. Now the problem is the reading are very unstable, swaying around very fast. Is there a way to satbilise its readings? Thanks for your help
Ответить@indrek I'm utilizing the 2 load cell configuration and getting a readout in Arduino of "Load_cell output val: nan" after calibration...Any ideas on how to fix?
ОтветитьHow can wiring this HX711 to plc? Its possible?
ОтветитьI am new to the world of Audrino IDE. I am trying to build a scale using in-line load cells to a junction box to an amplifier to an Audrino Uno R3. I have a display hooked into the Audrino. I am looking to put fasteners onto the scale and convert the weight to PC count and have it show on the display. I am having problems on which libraries to load in the IDE and the proper coding to use to get the results that I seek. Any suggestions????
ОтветитьHi. Would you mind creating a content taking 3 (50 kg) load cells working independently each other and conected to an Arduino Uno in order to replicate de pressure put on pedals of a race simulator pedals (Throttle, Brake and Clutch)? I got no skills on eletronics and want try this upgrade on my old sim racing pedals, changing from potenciometers to load cells reading. If you don't mind, of course. Thanks in advance!!!
Ответитьthank you for this great explanation!
ОтветитьHX711_ADC.h: No such file or directory i have error about this can anyone help me
ОтветитьGreat video!!! Is IT possible to setup IT with GSM module so i can receive SMS on demand with actual weight of beehive?
ОтветитьGreat video. I have one question, what is the problem if the load cell can't detect any Calibration it is still a 0 value? First, I already did but now it didn't get the calibration factor. The load cell, module, and wiring are good. I don't know what is that the problem
ОтветитьShould the resistance change when I verify using multimeter and press them hard? Because my program is running but no weight detected at all :( My serial is outputing: "output val: nan"
ОтветитьI did exacly the same circuit and i have put a iphone 6 (130 grams) but when i upload the code the calibration factor is set to a value and when reset the code and do the same process as before my calibration factor is ALWAYS changing, why does it do that? why it's not accurate like in this video? Please someone help me I am going insane.
ОтветитьWauw. looks great! can i use 6 pieces of weight scale? i need 300kg. can i use B- und B+ for it?
ОтветитьHi, super good video with how to add a screen like you have or a smaller one
ОтветитьHi, This is very good video, no wit is time to got to the next level of tearing down smart scale which use bluetooth connection to send the data to the mobile app!
ОтветитьHello, i follow all the tutorial but i've problem when i want calibrate load cell.
I entrer my pin and execute but the weight is very different to my knoww mass (28g know, -350 to -110000 )
Can you help me?
What display is this
ОтветитьHow is this application applicable outside of this specific task? I mean I can get a cheap scale for $8 bucks compared to make one using such sensors (I bet)... lol... My point being that this whole setup is totally dependent on the custom script and so it completely overlooks the essentials of what is actually going on... Its like omg that +200 lines of code (like wtf)...
ОтветитьCool video!
ОтветитьHi how would I program 4 separate hx711 scale to show up on the arduino individually
Ответитьwhy i m not found any value when my load cell is connect?? whats the problem
ОтветитьEn la configuración de 4 celdas cuánto es el peso máximo que puede cargar ?
ОтветитьClearly described and just what I needed for a project. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼 My project will sound different though 😉
ОтветитьWhat display is this?
ОтветитьCool video!
Do you know how long the latency is for the Arduino to realize that the force changed?
I want to build a Party game that involves the player to jump. So I do not need the exact weight but I would like to keep the latency <300 ms.
Is there any solution for 6 load cells ? (or I need to use 2 HX711 and read them both from the microcontroller?)
Ответитьhey, i made the same setup with four. When I run the program, it shows the correct value at the beginning, but immediately starts to increase or decrease slowly and endlessly. Any idea?
Ответить1 cell supports 50kg, so 4 of them should be around 200kg max reading? or they don't work like this? asking as I'll need to weight 80kg, a water tank. Atm I'm using this to weight a 30kg water tank and it's working great :D
ОтветитьFinally... I founded. Thank You very much!
ОтветитьThis amazing! Quick question. How much energy does this setup use if left on for an hour?
ОтветитьHello Indrek, I have tried to calibrate with a 4 load cells but the serial monitor displays unknown characters what could be the possible fault?
ОтветитьI am a year three student, may I know is it a must to connect the wire and amplifier by modelling? or I just need to plug the wire in the hole of the amplifier is already fine?
ОтветитьThank you for this, would it be possible for you to make a video on how to add an Internet and bluetooth monitoring to this project, admittedly I dont have any knowledge of arduino but would like to understand and learn from a complete project that i can dissect slowly, thanks again
ОтветитьHi Indrek, many thanks for your very well prepared lecture. Can you do me a favour and explain to me, why the wiring, which you describe for the 4 loadcells, ensures the proper power supply and measurement. Somehow I cannot see there, why this circular wiring supplies the loadcells with the proper voltage.
Thanks in advance, Detlev
Thank you for your helpful tutorial.
Question: If you only stand on one side of the four cell circuit, is the result will be accurate?
I followed everything, the output is not stable and it's always fluctuating.
ОтветитьHi Indrek. I have been trying to follow this video and I assembled the parts to build the 2x50kg. I am using an ESP32 wroom instead of the Arduino but it seems when I do the calibration, there is a big variation of values while measuring and if I remove the weight or add more weight, it doesn't update for the correct weight.
Could you help me to find the reason? Is there something extraordinary we need to consider if we use the ESP32-WROOM?
Thank you in advance.
Good video. I am looking for a code to get in output 4 different measurement
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video @indrek , I have a question , can I replace the load cells by just 4 strain gauges ?
ОтветитьMy friend I have a question. If I have 3 HX711, how can I get the same rate measurement?
I tried to connect the 3 HX711 to the same SCK pin in my microcontroller but it does not run. But when I try with a different SCK pin for each HX711 it runs but with different rates.
great video, if you could put a little bit more steps on the code it would be helpful. Noobie's like myself are struggling on the code side. Also on an ender 3 the 3d printer for the mounts for the load cells dont work. Idk why
ОтветитьHi there! This is a great tutorial and you put a lot of effort in it. Thanks a lot! This video explained me a lot of things and it's very educational. I have one noobish question. Is it possible just to wire amplifier to a analog display without arduino? Maybe it doesnt make any sense, but as i said, im pretty new to this.
ОтветитьI would like to use I2C concept because i want to connect each load cell seprately to single arduino so do i need to keep each amplifier for each load cell or is it sufficient connecting each load cell separately to single amplifier, please suggest?
Ответитьplease provide the library HX711 ADC.
its not available at the given link. it says no server found.
i need the library very much . Please help out.
Could you add more cells to make the scale capable of measuring higher weight?
ОтветитьWhat if I have 4 cable load cells, What do I do with the green cables?
ОтветитьHey there, this is probably a long shot given that this video was uploaded in 2020, but I'm trying to get a single load cell working and I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm getting a constant fluctuation in the values and the cell does not respond to the actual weight being put on it. Maybe you can help? I've looked everywhere on the web and cannot find a definitive answer.
