Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa - Cinnamon Edition - Review and Impressions

I am much impressed with mint 19.3. MX Linux was the worst! It couldn’t even remember my password. Mint 19.3 is a refreshing, pleasure to use. Mint 18.3 was surprisingly slow. So, upgrade to 19.3 and enjoy a real OS.

imho, Cinnamon seems to be the turning point for Linux DE's. Ive always had weirdness with other DEs but Cinnamon is smooth, stable, beautiful, and uses surprisingly little ram. Cinnamon + Manjaro is where it's at. I feel this combo is ideal for the vast majority of users.

Excuse me but I watched a previous video of you commenting on the resource consume with Gnome in Ubuntu, so how is Cinnamon to Mint? IMO Cinnamon is way better than Gnome but I am not sure if it consumes/need more resources to work. Can someone tell me how is it? I need something kind of measurable if possible for comparision.

the color Mint never looked like mint to me in Linux mint. more like dosh. i use mint since 2018 but with blue arcdarc theme plus paper icons.

when i used mint 4 years ago, i used the KDE desktop.
i prefer minimalist installations too.

I'm loving Mint 19.1. I use XFCE desktop. Cinnamon is cool, but XFCE is lighter and and I like that

A brilliant review, I've just moved over to it from Windows 7, Microsoft can keep Windows 10, I've heard so many people complain about problems with W10. Thank you for posting.

I'm downloading Mint next. All because of its deep configuration. I want the OS to run the way i want not the other way around. For next Manjaro video plz do a section about terminal/command line, like how apps are installed and how its different from other Linuxs'
