I just accidentally discovered this movie online. This is my hometown and HS. It’s an extremely small school like 500 students through 6 grades. Nice to see they made everything look nice af inside AFTER I graduated

Filmed at Emerson Junior Senior High School in Emerson, New Jersey. Pleasant to see your high school in a movie, but what a shame the movie is such a predictably messy and miserable and cliched chunk of garbage.

I saw this movie two years ago. And I couldn't find a better romantic movie than it
I think it's because of the characters' age and depth

I just watched all summers end before this movie and didn’t know it was Austin abrams in both. He didn’t even look the same😮

Ending was meh…..

Austin is such a good actor!

This is better than All The Bright Places

I still think the book is far better but this was a not too bad adaptation, though it didn’t capture enough as the book did.

This movie just gave me a sense of healing that I've needed for a very long time

I’ve added this to my list of movies to watch a couple of weeks ago , finally got the chance to do so between yesterday & today.
The ending made me relate so much to Henry , because as a hopeless romantic myself I’ve found that whenever I love or care it runs way too deep & my heart hurts physically whenever I’m faced with deflecting my feelings.
Ironically, I can relate to Grace as well.
Wanting to love because you want to love & not because you want to fill a void or to feel something.
At one point you understand that shutting down your emotions will literally tear you apart .

The entire movie felt more like a reality. Like the way it was placed on pen & paper then delivered into actions went together synchronized.
It definitely does not add into the cliche ramcoms , it leans more to reality of how embracing your emotions can play a HUGE part in your life .
And the whole explanation on why a person’s heart can actually hurt from being sad or broken made me comprehend that aspect differently.

The soundtrack was amazing as well.

Fall in Love, Fall apart

One of the best films I watched in recent times! It has been an emotional rollercoaster since the beginning till end! The plot was great, accompanied by incredible cast and flawless performance of LilliLili Reinhart ❤️ and Austin Abrahams ♥️! The end made me sentimental!

One of the most depressing movies i've ever seen. Just. No.

My teenage years were awfully uneventful, just the casual pangs of depression where you feel guilty for assuming that the level of adversity you are going through even remotely resembles the pain people diagnosed with clinical depression go through so you shut yourself up and get over it after a few days of feeling worthless and useless because life is indeed not all that bad and something minimally good distracts you. But the vicious cycle continues well past the teen years. Anyways these movies make out teenage life to be way too eventful than it really is for normal people like me I suppose.

This one really kicks you in the balls. I found it quite difficult to watch. You can feel the pain from both sides and that really says something for the cast and crew. 'I felt it' is THE best complement I can give to this movie.
