I'm from te Netherlands and currently traveling through Thailand. Since I'm here my views mostly on TikTok are sooooo bad, sometimes I'll get 200 views with a 30k following. I'm trying VPN to keep my location on the NL's but I'm not sure if this helps... What would you recommend to do? Use VPN or not? I'm so frustrated about the fact I'm putting effort in making content and getting no views :( btw great video!

I have a bit of a problem too. I’m in Greece, having bought a mobile phone from France, with a French SIM card. I created a new tik tok account using the WiFi of my home here in Greece and with the phone in flight mode (no VPNs at all). The strange thing is that in FYP it shows me a lot of videos from Poland and also I can only promote my videos in Poland. It's silly. I'm in Greece, I have a French sim card and everything is Polish in tik tok. What is happening? I want to target the french audience

Thanks for your video! I live in the US and then went for vacation to Mexico and suddenly my videos were getting zero views, even when I got back to the US my views never went back up. I had to close that account and start a new one. Now I'm on vacation in Bolivia and same thing is happening, zero views, but I can't keep creating new accounts on every trip. I will try using my data plan instead of wifi and hopefully that will work. Have you by any chance heard if there is any difference if I schedule them out on my laptop either through TikTok directly or Planoly or similar?

Tiktok is sensitive about locations because of the different privacy laws in each country. you see how the usa attacked them and tried to take them down for being from a different country. it absolutely makes sense why they are cautious about things that could take down their company that they have worked hard to build.

I honestly think it has to do with the sim card. I travelled to egypt and changed my sim card while i was there , and ever since, egyptians are a big part of my audience, whereas when i went to the US (I did not change my sim card) and my tiktoks never teached US audience. And still doesn’t

I've experienced a massive increase of views when i was on travel to the US. I live in Canada, had usually a thousand views. I've posted from Washington DC airport and it had jumped to 500K. Never could have that amount after that.
