This scene make me think that the version of Barry who save himself as child that night is still alive, cause when Barry create flashpoint he didn't get erased, but just losing his memories. We didn't already saw that version of Barry yet,cause he didn't already arrived in the future ,hope we get that version on this season 9!
Like when Barry get back in the past in season 2 for ask Thawne help about speed ecuation, it was supposed to get erased, cause he have modify an important event in season 1, but nothing happen.

Jesus, Thawne just wants to kill Barry for destroying his dream but he can't because he'll be erased so he destroyed Barry life that's why Thawne is one of the best DC villians beside Sinestro, The Joker or Lex Luthor because he has a great motive and origin story, his rival created him before he even met hin

Speedforce is a douche to Barry 😂 how come he gets punished yet Eobard unknowingly alters timeline the moment he killed barry's mother and gets away with it with his memory of the original timeline (where barry became the flash in year 2024)

I find it odd that the writers forgot that this is supposed to be the original (comic book) timeline, so in reality (and certainly through eobard’s perspective) the timeline wasn’t changed, but preserved.

Actually if you think about it this isn't a mirage, it's the original timeline because Barry's mother wasn't dead until reverse flash ran back and killed her.

Notice how RF says that "our common enemy is time". Was this an early hint at black flash coming for them because they fucked with the timeline? :)

they should have make flashpoint be entire season 3 and in season 4, eobard kills his mother, and return everything back the way it was for barry, well almost everything
