New Features in After Effects 2023 Native 3D Objects!?!?

Hello Sir Can you please make tutorial on how deal with undistort and re distort 3d renders basically i have render from Blender which are render using undistortion however it easy for nuke user to use it but difficult for after effect user can you please help me out on this.

im tryna edit a 3d phone with the new features but its a pain in the ass to put the screen on it, I cant just set it as a texture in the model like you can in element 3d, they've got a long way to go still but im excited to see where it goes

im SO pumped for the properteis panel and the 3d objects. no more need for element 3d

the cache preview in ae2023 is supper slow compared to older versions, did they optimize it yet?

Oh wow, I never even use the animation presets, or the effects outside of brightness and contrast, but in regards to the text presets, those look similar to what Mr. Horse offers.

Saw the track map update the other day and had no idea it didn't need to be on the above layer, suuuuuper helpful update! (Great video btw!)

Final Form: We need to have folder layer management (not just precomps). This is in every major tool (AI, PS, Animate, etc) and needs to be in AE. I want to be able, f/e, to have a "head" folder, in which I have "Head shape, Hair, eyes, eyebrows, nose, ears, lips" without needing it to be in a Precomp. I don't always want or need 4 layers of comps within comps to do what I need.

everyone is going nuts with this update including me, finally native h264, a new easy and better way to track matte and plus the keyframe grouping, props to adobe to deliver such an update

Obviously the track matte features are the best. But also keyframe color coding is gonna be huge for organization, when you have multiple shape layers grouped into one, and you're animating them all independently. Some awesome QoL updates here.

What took so long, wow these guys are slow! What about using a disclose triangle to open a precomp right in your comp? Too much red tape Adobe.

havent figured out how to use 3d objects yet. I use element 3d but cant figure out AEs import

I can't believe there is so many excited comments about OBVIOUS and SIMPLE features that took them YEARS to implement plus old not exactly good, just basic essential features that was scrapped and brought back. Thank you guys for paid testing.

Already used so many of these in my recent videos. Especially the track mattes!

No more duplicating matte layers and having to adjust all of them if anything changes?! The track matte update will make things so much easier!

Wow, Adobe finally added 3D after all these years. But, how basic it is. They are way behind the times. You are still better off using Video Copilots 3D plugin. I am glad I don't use Adobe products anymore. They are just to far behind the graphics industry. And not to mention all that wasted money for what... just 2d effects!? No, thanks.

3d object addition is a great idea but can't be added.(( Do I need a subscription to add 3d objects?

when i first learned AE. I had a really hard time wrapping my head around track matte and how and when they work because sub-consciously i thought it would work like it is working now in this update. when I finally got the hang of it, it felt so limited and clunky. I am so happy to see my version of track matte realized in this update.

They need to up the game on these updates, we need native 3D and depth compositing.

Everyone's talking about the track matte update, which is great and all... but the native 3D objects tease is what got me! That will be the true game changer.

so basically I can label switch layer segments. so that a charachter speaking will match up across a symbol?

It seems, this new version is finally (!!!) a real improvment !!! At least, adobe finally made efforts to get AE back into the business :)
So happy H264 exports are available again in the render queue !!
