The spongebob movie game is literally my favorite game of all time and seeing it at the number one slot fills my heart with goofy goober joy

was this really meant as a ranking from worst to best? it genuinly seems like a random order for most of the video.

I actually owned Operation Krabby Patty, and even though I never beat it, I remember repalying it a lot as a kid. In fairness I didn't have a lot of pc games at all, so... I made do i guess. I have fond memories of some of the levels at least. Would I buy and play it today? Absolutely not.

What about Spongebob saves the day for leapster?

I gotta say I don't know if it's just nestalgia but you have boating bash and truth or square way too low those were so entertaining when I used to play them. Even after all these years I still get the craving to play boating bash it was such a fun game with friends.

I feel like this is the first time I've played and have a lot of nostalgia for one of the unrankables; Spongebob Squarepants: 3D Obstacle Odyssey 2. I owned it via Big Fish Games; if anyone literally at all remembers that game host website and used it (I've never met anyone else who did, but my mom used it religiously), I hope you know it's actually still up to this day and practically no games have been unlisted, and almost all the games are still playable! Even our old account still works 😊

Lights Camera Pants is my first Spongebob Video Game ever played, competing with my friends was very fum

The Spongebob games on the DS definitely were part of my childhood

So....I remember Number 33. I had a IEP(Independent Education Program) and for some reason playing "educational" games was part of it. That Spongebob game one was one of those games. Good times? ....Eh, decent times

The Movie game was sooooooo good. I prefer the level design over bfbb. A shame there's no Sandy, but Patrick controls SOOOOOOO much better and the music is soooo good too.

The first movie game is absolutely goated. Took all the great aspects of BFBB and improved on some features. Sure it’s much more linear but it’s such a fun game of my childhood.

So happy to see that the SpongeBob movie is getting the love it deserves

Fun video, but I would have preferred if you separated the handheld versions from the home console ones, considering they're literally a different genre in most cases.

Also - the Spongebob Movie game for GBA was a real fun little platformer that was done dirty in this list (although I might be biased through nostalgia).

Drinking game: Everytime they say "isn't the best game ever" or "isn't the worst game ever" you drink.

Yellow Avenger on PSP, what a disappointment

Boating Bash being 29 is pretty criminal, that game is literally like twisted metal but SpongeBob.

Truth or square isn’t that bad of a game, especially not bad enough to be placed 32. It’s a pretty average game I’m the grand scheme of things but should be Top 15 when it comes to SpongeBob games.

I enjoyed the Battle for the Bikini Bottom rehydrated game but the robots were frustrating and it took me a long time in order to defeat the king jellyfish. it was nostalgic for me because I am a fan of Spongebob.

I ADORED the PC SpongeBob games of the early-mid 00s. Employee of the Month, lights camera pants, and the movie tie-in game were staples of my childhood. I also enjoyed operation krabby patty when I was real young, and came back to it once in a while.

The fact that SUPERSPONGE is as high as it is makes me feel like I just received a Dragon Ball punch to the gut, that game is BEYOND ass

I remember playing a bootleg SpongeBob game from Russia when I was like 3 years old back in 2001 ish, no idea what it was called because you know russian, we got it when I was adopted from ukraine and is probably the very first game I ever played

Why is it that the two games based on the Truth or Square missed the entire point of the special?

In the special, the gang spend most of the time in the air vents because of a mishap that led to the freezer door being locked from the outside.

There was a time Plankton tried to steal the Krabby Patty formula, but that was when he was INSIDE the Krusty Krab because everyone left while the dynamic dunderheads were trying to get out of the air vents to start the Krusty Krab's Eleventy-Seventh, which initially ended up being a bust because everyone left until Spongebob did a song that brought everyone back.

Why is it that the developers misunderstood the plot of the special??

Okay, a little research on the console version and turns out the reason why it has nothing to do with the actual special was because it was literally going under SpongeBob SquarePants: Happiness Squared during development. Okay, I can get that, but what's the PC game's excuse? Again, the special didn't have them find the krabby patty formula, they were stuck in the fucking air ducts and were trying to get out!!!

Still waiting on every N64 game ranked worst to best 😭

Regarding the Eye Toy SpongeBob game. The #1 redeeming thing that the Eye Toy had going for it, was that it wasn't the Kinect.
I owned an Eye Toy and various games for it at it's release. Same with the Wii. Same with the Kinect.
The Eye Toy was good. The Wii was very good. And the Kinect was comically bad. As a family we got loads of hours of fun out of both the Eye Toy and Wii. The Kinect? Probably an hour tops trying to get into it. Then stuck it in a box where it still lies forlorn in a cupboard along with maybe a dozen games. Some unopened.
