This really is an amazing series. Very clear. Easy to follow and understand. Just enough detail to get started with the toolset and then a bit more. Really enjoyed it.

Your introduction was very interesting to me. Your reasons behind choosing this toolset for your project/projects is very convincing. This is a very rich toolset for RPG design.

What I was wondering about is whether, 3 years later, you're still happy with Aurora or if you've moved on from it. The reason I ask is that although the toolset is ideal for a designer who is more interested in the writing, as you mentioned, I've found the final product a bit unsatisfactory. I'm not a huge fan of the 3D craze in RPGs. I much prefer the isometric visuals of Diablo, Baldur's Gate, etc. I guess it's just a personal choice. I find the visuals more engaging and inviting with regard to strategy. 3D camera angling is a bit distracting, to me anyway.

Do you know of a similarly richly endowed tool for isometric design? Are you still happy with Aurora? Just curious.

Excellent video. Thank-you for sharing your technical and design expertise.

I spent three years using this stuff to deliver a pen and paper style session every weekend. Thousands of hours, many GB of custom content, hundreds of lovingly created areas... scripting, (co)DMing... irreplaceable moments shared with my best friends. And now there is Larian... let's hope they don't fuck it up.

I used this tool 15 years ago to create custom maps. I had a lot of fun with friends creating and sharing our dungeons. I remember with joy the nights of playing and testing the stories. I am happy to see that this tool is still used today. I will follow the videos with interest because I do not remember anything and I would like to try to use it again. I also tested Unity but it doesn't inspire me very much, I prefer Unreal even if it is difficult under certain occasions. The best if you want to have fun is an engine like this but there aren't many. A few years ago Larian created his tool with Divinity, unfortunately I personally found it more messed up than others and I didn't like it >. < (the one to create the maps) while the one for creating stories is more comfortable and easier to use. Have you tried it?
