RIP McCoy Tyner.
ОтветитьEnormous talent and musical dreamer ! Stunning proficiency at the keyboard !
ОтветитьIs there a Song list 4this
Ответить♥️
ОтветитьMACOY TYNER IS SOMETHING Else. SIMPLY Awesome! DICK Tynan Dublin Ireland 2o22
ОтветитьThe bass player is actually Richard Pryor and he's sober.
ОтветитьI have been very lucky to see all three musicians more than once in London. Each guy perform more than once I mean. Three of my favourite musicians playing together sounds a nice experience.
Ответить🙌🏾🙌🏾
Ответитьyou gotta love when drums are mixed incorrectly.
ОтветитьStanley Clarke is brilliant here. I remember his days playing with Chick Corea. He is a super bassist great technique as well
ОтветитьTwo excellent approaches to the piano.
ОтветитьStankey Clarke is such a heavy. Never understood his foray into fusion after Return to Forever.
ОтветитьThe only thing that surpasses the uncanny precision and freedom of his left hand is the unreal precision and speed of his right. Both conveying the most advanced harmonic concepts.
ОтветитьIt is such pleasure to hear Clarke on acoustic bass..and of course the clarity of Erskine
ОтветитьWOW, what a fabulous performance by an all-start lineup.
ОтветитьGod-like playing but WTF is that low Bb that's louder than anything else in the mix?
ОтветитьLove yo McCoy! And, seems ol' Roger did his share of the little tabs, ya know? ;-)
ОтветитьI have two of these white Yamaha recording custom drum kits, made in the early 80s :)
ОтветитьShould of called Elvin , he wouldn’t bring a drum set like that to play jazz with McCoy or anybody for that matter
ОтветитьStanley Crake at his very best...
Ответитьwhat a great concert.. thank you for posting
ОтветитьIs Clarke using solo tuning? Sounds great whatever he's doing.
ОтветитьAdmiration 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьLove peter but those drums sound awful! so choked it's crazy. I'm so glad this phase of choked drums is over. yuck.
ОтветитьMcCoy Tyner is a blend of Mitchel
Camilo Oscar Petersen and himself .. True tasty. Peter Erskine is just boiling and playing like a wing of a colibri!!!
Awesome stuff!!!!!!
ОтветитьYes, yes.... never heard a performance except exceptional by Mr Tyner.
ОтветитьShould have turned off the mike! Who's dong sound?
ОтветитьKilling it! McCoy and rhythm section! Roger Kellaway was throwing down!
ОтветитьProbably the high light of peters career!
ОтветитьGreen Dolphin St. Ah yes!
ОтветитьThe great Joe Chambers has said that McCoy Tyner supplied much of the swing and drive in the Coltrane band.Listening to this, I can see what he meant, he provides a great platform on which Erskine and Clarke provide nuance and colour - beautiful stuff.
ОтветитьBrilliant! Absolutely brilliant! No words...
ОтветитьThe long living giant, McCoy!
ОтветитьQ; Are you a Pole Valter?? -- A: Yes I am, but how did you know my name was Valter?
ОтветитьI consider McCoy the Keeper of the Flame...
The standard against which all others are to be measured.
Simply the Best in Everything he does!
Roger Kellaway is killing !!! Great player!!!
ОтветитьGreat drummer Peter Erskine ,great musicians !
ОтветитьOn green dolphin street
ОтветитьWonder nobody is loosing a word about Roger....amazing player as well!
ОтветитьErskine Playing a Pre Yes Yamaha recording custom in Stage White Set Killer
ОтветитьApenas y puedo escuchar el Ride de Pete...
ОтветитьNice easy listening food for the ear.
Ответитьperfect
ОтветитьHard Bop at its Best...
ОтветитьThis was released as a cd Implosions by Stanley Clarke. One of my absolute favorite jazz recording/releases, along with McCoy Tyner with symphony. I've been searching forever for this...longtime out of print CD. Seeing it played out is so very bonus!!!
ОтветитьA hep cat in a cool whistle...
