Wow...
ОтветитьIf you heal and you have children, and you don’t pass on that hurt .. your a true hero. You made the world a more beautiful place, because not only it’s healing to you…all the generations after wards, don’t carry the wound on
ОтветитьSurrendering yourself to a very long and very nourishing hug to someone we have dared to trust... how hauntingly beautiful
ОтветитьThis is so helpful and interesting and it makes sense on so many levels. thank you
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWell tough pill to swallow seeing things about oneself but much needed.
ОтветитьMassage therapy trade school helped me a lot. We had to practice body work on one another in a professional setting. I don’t know how much I held on to.
ОтветитьTrue; from experience, the loosest women are also the loosest in another way, lol
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьIts actually the brain that keeps the score. The body on the otherhand is the score card.
ОтветитьDARPA keeps the score, those who run the neuroweapons covert abuse torture programme. No one ever wants to attribute them to causing your so-called c-PTSD. Nope, that's called "delusion", how convenient.
ОтветитьWowww 🦉Thankyou !!
ОтветитьThat parental wound runs deep.
ОтветитьIt’s all very well if you are young enough to run, do kickboxing etc, what can you do when you’re old?
ОтветитьLET THE BODY KEEP THE SCORE
LET THE BODY KEEP THE SCORE
LET THE BODY KEEP THE.....
SCCCCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOORRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE \m/
Let the body keep the score
Let the body keep the score
Let the body keep the score
Let the body keep the
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
To be honest, if this video is meant to promote more physical forms of therapy, its going about it a little wrong. All the academic jargon is making it sound complicated and unapproachable.
ОтветитьIt’s the biopsychosocial model that provides for this, most of them work in on each other.
ОтветитьThis helped
ОтветитьI'm listening to this book, it's informative and we need to look beyond the medical model in physical and mental health. Play, body and movement is good for your spirituality.
ОтветитьWow this went off crazy I really really like that. It also reminded me that I wanted to get into talk therapy .
ОтветитьSolutions to play like a child in swings, hug someone you love, Chanting, therapeutic massage
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI also loved the book “The Myth of Normal” which expands on this theme
ОтветитьBs. My body sore from the exercises i did a couple days ago. That’s how it keeps score… not sure how it relates to how much i was coddled as a baby, I don’t even remember that. The abuse i cannot relate to, so I can’t say…
ОтветитьHow does this book compare to "Letting Go" by David Hawkins in terms of dealing with trauma?
ОтветитьThis is very very honest bitter truth of our lives simply put the way we treat our bodies it shows in our behavior patterns in all the respects whatever goes around comes around 🙏
ОтветитьI’ve been through some trauma, ended up smoking weed due to physical pain and ultimately accidentally killed my dad. Shit was fucked, I tried explaining to everyone who’d listen it was my body that was manifesting these problems the most, even since in was 7 and started displaying adhd symptoms, which coincided with both a bad neck injury and finding my mom after a suicide attempt. Now I play drums and bass, and it’s literally saved me. Not just the expression, but the multitasking focus, having to remember a couple thousand unique parts, the rush of performance (in the hospital) the repetition. It’s beyond beautiful. I’m trying to figure out how to marry the two, I know music therapy is a thing but at least in the hospital it isn’t what it could be, and apply that to the community in Robeson county nc where I’m going to live when I get out
ОтветитьIt's like the ultimate fake it until you make it!
ОтветитьYes this is an accurate depiction on my life
ОтветитьMy mom was emotionally neglected by my grandmother as a child and my grandfather abandoned his family.
Thankfully my dad has given her what she never had as a child, love and understanding, but she’s extremely cold towards warm displays of affection. She’s not affectionate person and this video confirmed the source.
Being a stay at home mom, o can't affair to pay for classes/activities, massages that often. One thing that has helped my body be more confident with touch has been volunteering at my children's elementary school! Being around children under the age when I was abused, and seeing their innocence, their love, having them play with my hair, smell my clothes and give me unconditional compliments has been extremely healing! Not to even mention being around emotionally safe adults! If you get opportunity to volunteer in your community do it! I stared doing it because I was isolating and my doctor suggested to go to the gym, I said no way I'm exposing myself to adults 🤭 so I went to children! I'm so proud of my accomplishments while volunteering both in the community and in my personal emotional life ❤ go for it! You are more than capable! One step at a time! I'm still not ready to go to the gym, but I'm went back to the dentist and obgyn after 5 years 😢 just 9 months of being around God's littlest angels and my inner child happiness is coming little by little ❤️
ОтветитьAMAZING video.
ОтветитьChina tv is great to become what this tries to fix
ОтветитьLoving the sharp edges
ОтветитьI love being alone
Need no hugs
Won't tell you my birthday
So you don't hug me.
Not anti human
But ordinary people don't attract me much
I survived and I will begin to thrive
Ответитьi just her to hug me 💜
ОтветитьJust ordered this book, excited to read it. Already know my back issues stems from my mental health, everytime I’ve hit a wall of some sort I’ve thrown my back out. Yes, I threw my back out 2 weeks into the pandemic.
ОтветитьYes I have fibromyalgia, borderline personality disorder, Adhd and narcolepsy. As well as becoming an alcoholic for 24 years.. All due to childhood trauma x
ОтветитьOne of the best book i have ever read👌👌
ОтветитьYes yes. This quite obvious and informative. But why nowhere is it stated about what to do to find a solution for those issues
ОтветитьProbably worth pointing out read the book, it’s not referring to “body count” 🤓
ОтветитьTrust falls are great
ОтветитьLook into SHIP treatment (Spontaneous Healing Intra-systemic Process). It's a psychotherapy created here in South Africa that focuses on accessing trauma stored in the body. All about feeling as strongly and intensely what is already there. I've never experienced anything like it and it goes deeper than any other therapy I've tried.
ОтветитьIt's not all ☀️ and 🌈... Joe Biden could be your father/uncle/grandfather.
ОтветитьSkateboarding is the greatest sport do that!!!
ОтветитьNo wonder my love language is physical touch.. and I regularly tend to get a massage. I need to feel like I have a body. Someone I feel so out of place. Makes sense
ОтветитьHe is not wrong. The thing is humanity hasn't realised that the subconscious is actually linked to the body and when the subconscious is damaged then it is stores the trauma in how the body functions. There are actually two of you inside there but you only listen to the one.
ОтветитьHow beautifully explained the book
