ОтветитьAh say…..bring on the damn jams, man. And if you think life is nothing but spam in the can, Dan, just turn to the Lady with the fan.
She knows the plan but catch her while you can for now…….
WATCH OUT, Brother………
Her bosom will burn your eyes like hot as hades sand.
Never saw that one coming, now didja, Sam?
Hey you on the stage…………enough of your fiddlin’ and bring on…………….

ОтветитьHey now ! I just finished my tenth and final radiation ☢️ treatment for Stage 4 Prostate Cancer and I’m quite nauseous and I am in a good bit of pain even though I took my medicine. I’m going to listen to this, and hopefully fall asleep eventually. Thanks for the upload or whatever you young kids call it. Ha ha.
ОтветитьIn 1973, my college roommate had spent the year before hitchhiking around the country following the Dead, he was devoted, He got me hooked, taught me how to hitchhike
too.
I saw the Dead at Watkins Glen Summer Jam, ‘73 with my brother. We camped about 50 feet front center stage, All 3 bands played Friday night & Saturday, 600,000 showed up to see the Dead, the Band & the Allman Bros. My brother is gone now, but this sure makes me think of him & our wild weekend at the Raceway!
They musta played Truckin’
for an hour, we were all dancing.
this is 6 hours too long
Ответитьthanks for this
ОтветитьGonna have a fungi experience shortly and this will be my soundtrack. Thank you, sir.
ОтветитьPretty Heady 👌🏻 🍄🌹💨💨💨✨✨💨
Ответитьgot through the 1st hour. beautiful. its like poetry and math and painting and science in one. i appreciate the music of the grateful dead. i did get to see them play once in sac cali in 1991. went to shows outside at sac, oakland, shoreline and seattle.
ОтветитьGreatest American Band,NOT just cause of their music, THEY SHOWED MAJOR RESPECT TO THE PEOPLE WHOM ENJOYED THEIR MUSIC,,...MAJOR!!!!
ОтветитьAlways thought the Rolling Stones were the greatest...BUT THE GREATFUL DEAD,in my opinion ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE MOSTIST, TIGHTEST, AWSOMEST AMERICA BAND EVER. Seen them(always with JERRY) numerous times...Never the same show..No set list. Most bands play same show, per tour. NO JERRY, NO GRATEFUL DEAD.
ОтветитьI’m on a heroic dose of 🍄 as I type this. Thank you for uploading this and making my trip even better. ✌🏼 ❤️
ОтветитьLove this selection! Please make more 🎉 whos paintings are these though i want some lol
ОтветитьMy hero
ОтветитьTasty.
ОтветитьRight off the bat, starting with a bit of Supplication, you have my attention! Well you had my attention with the title, 6 hours of super heady jamming! Beautiful. Then when I clicked on the 'more' tab and saw all the '76, I thought to myself, 'heres someone who knows!....... something ". My favorite year can change a bit now and then but more often than not when I spin that particular wheel in my mind it lands on '76. Just something really, just...um.. perfect about 76 Dead imo. There was a lot of energy and excitement in what the individual players were doing and overall performances yet there was a continuous mellowness weaved throughout every show. Imo, it's really a year that stands alone because in my mind, I can hear 2 year (approximate) phases, like late 68- early 70, mid 70- early 72. 72 is kinda on its own giving birth to the glorious 73-74. 75 kinda stand on its own too with its only 4 crazy shows. Then you have our 76. And 77 and 78 of course. 79 and 80 and so on. Im kinda loosing steam here with my writing and thinking..lol... as i get lost in this beautiful dark star.........and away i go....,...
ОтветитьYa know....? Everyone, and i mean EVERYONE should walk this Soundtrack-o'--Life....atleast ONCE A WEEK....🎵🌚🌝🎶
ОтветитьGreat mix. The art is also cool. Is it yours?
Ответитьive already listened to this 3 times since i found it yesterday! super excited to check out your other comps! 🔥🔥🌹🌹
ОтветитьI’ve had my fantasy set list in my head for years, and this compilation covers a lot of the bases! Thanks a million for sharing this, as it’s amazing from start to finish🔥👍
ОтветитьIve been hunting Prophet jams - thanks for your time making this
ОтветитьIncredibly beautiful slipknot. I'm in love.
ОтветитьThis is excellent - looking forward to going to sleep tonight!
Question - is it possible to to share higher res audio (flac?), I would really like to to listen to this in the car
Thanks for sharing
Having these jams out of context like this makes it all the more powerful how unique and trailblazing they were as a musical concept
ОтветитьMega project idea: 8-10 hours of 72-90 era slow moving jams to sleep to. All of it super slow, weaving back and forth, and right at the end have a Space that then mimics the end of a standard set 1 (short form), set 2 (long jam drums space), encore form.
