I saw this movie when it came out 4 years ago and haven't seen it since. I remember bits and pieces but completely forgot the whole story. Now I just rewatched it with a friend 4 years later and loved the movie all over again. Really made me feel just as sad as the first time watching it 😭

moral of this story is good:

fear will cause you to look at life with a blindfold, running away from all the atrocities and wrongs in the world instead of fighting to stop them.

My jaw absolutely hit the floor at the scene where Malorie's sister stepped into the way of the truck, especially the way the blood sprayed

It's a testament to the acting ability of Sandrah Bullock that people found this mediocre thriller to be astoundingly thrilling.

So there is an Apocalypse and a bunch of people find shelter in that one house and oh, of course they must be very diverse. Women, Men, Black, white, Asian, Gay, hetero, visually impaired, pregnant, Old, young and of course they all break the stereotypes. And of course, onyl the white guys get to be the assholes while the blacks get to be the hero and poets. 🤢 Hollywood is a joke at this point
