Thanks a lot! Great stuff
ОтветитьI couldn't have done it without you. Thanks
ОтветитьNicely done, they are messy to work on but the real experience that can't be shared over the internet it the lovely sweet smelling food grade grease:)
ОтветитьCan this gear cause the mixer to not even turn on?
ОтветитьThank you very much saved me some money!
Ответитьmuy bien
ОтветитьWould this work on a 6 quart mixer as well?
ОтветитьThanks to you, I was able to order the right part and fix my mixer. I really appreciate your how-to video.
ОтветитьWe did this, ordered the part and followed the instructions in the video and it worked except now the mixer only works on high; speeds 9 & 10. What did we do wrong?
ОтветитьThank you, thank you, thank you. I knew I could save my wife's beloved mixer if I could just figure out how to get the cover off. You gave me that and more. Worm gear has 4 or 5 worn teeth, the control is cracked and the brushes are worn. I ordered all the parts I needed from eReplacement part and will check back in when I have it working again.
ОтветитьGreat video. Saved myself buying a new mixer and cost 10 bucks for the worm gear. Thanks.
ОтветитьI followed this video tutorial because my mixer wasn’t spinning, but was definitely on. However, I went through this whole process and now my mixer won’t even turn on. Do you have any idea what could’ve happened?
ОтветитьThanks man! It helped a lot! You are awesome!
ОтветитьGreat video!!! Thank you!
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial! I am no longer intimidated. Thanks very. Much
ОтветитьWhat is the model number of the mixer being repaired? The technician is outstanding. Calm, clear, measured dialog which is encouraging.
ОтветитьGreat video. Very usefull.
Ответить!! Excellent Tutorial !!
Thanks for sharing 💕 que
This is an awesome video! Thank you!! I used it to fix a Kitchenaide KSM5 but used the same parts. Took me less than a half hour with your instructions
ОтветитьThis was a great how to from E replacement parts. I think I could even do it ! I'm wondering if it would work on my kitchen aid however which is the taller heavy duty kind that doesn't bend back back....
Ответитьthank you for this vidio to learned very easy for replacement a part at home
ОтветитьTotally saved my bacon. This video had me up and running within 48hours.
THANKS
Thank you!!!!
ОтветитьPhenomenal video!helped immensely other than the fact my kitchen aid had these square shaped screws but it was a perfect fix!thank you
ОтветитьI was able to fix my wife's Kitchenaid thanks to this video, thank you so much for taking the time to make it. It's up and running now, the gear was totally wrecked.
ОтветитьWhere do I order the piece from?
ОтветитьYour direction is very clear. I cannot speak English clearly but I understood your direction. Thank you. Twee Columbus, Ohio
ОтветитьMy mixer keeps moving the pin out that holds it onto the stand - the pivot point for lifting up the head. I can be mixing bread and having to knock it back into place 4 times before I am done. Any thoughts on how to stop this?
ОтветитьHad the same problem at work, make sure the bowl crank is all the way up should work
ОтветитьOrder the entire assemnly. The metal gear on the bottom kept mine from spinning. His nylon gear that he is changing is not worn out. Its usually the gear under it! Cost is not much for the entire assembly.
ОтветитьRepaired mine but still don’t work Got a spark when I replaced the two black caps on the top of my mixer. Removed them before I seen video. Would it stop it from working
ОтветитьThank you! Great step by step instructions for disassembly, repair and reassembly. You saved us big $'s, $14 dollar part vs. $200+ for a new mixer.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU! I broke the worm gear last week when the bowl wasn't secured. Got a gear from amazon. Took my phone in the kitchen with me and used this video to get it back and working again. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Took about maybe 45 minutes including cleaning up all the grease that got everywhere. This video was a lifesaver!
ОтветитьThank you so much...
ОтветитьI was about to throw my old kitchen aid away, $10 gear and a little frustration soon got it working again thanks to you for this video
ОтветитьThank You So Much for taking the time to make this tutorial.. your very kind..my mixer isn't broke have had it over 17 yrs. knock on wood.. I do use it often if not daily.. nice to know what to look for as a common repair may be coming my way someday..
Ответитьi have problems with my rotatory attachments what could be the problem
ОтветитьHey Mark, thanks much for this video. I know it's 8 years old now but as the KSM hasn't changed much since 1947 I was still able to use your great tutorial to fix my mixer. My KSM is only a couple of years old, so the use of square drive head screws to hold the motor housing to the chassis may be new. Luckily I had some on hand. You made it a piece of cake (so to speak) :) Thanks a bunch!
ОтветитьThank you for this video!! I am super excited to say that our mixer now works again, which has made my wife very happy!! Your instructions and camera shots were superb and very easy to follow along. Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks, just saved me lots of money not having to send it away for repair. excellent video
ОтветитьHi
That video saved me a lot of money
It was very accurate
Hi Mark. My kitchenaid mixer broke teeth on the gear which i fixed thanks to your video. Now the mixer doesn't start. I changed the phase control board as well as the speed control board and still have no juice. Can you help me with any other suggestions as to what it may be.
ОтветитьThank you! Your video saved my life: I've just broken my wife's favorite kitchen toy, but now I know I can fix it. I suspected the worm gear is broken, but now I'm 99% sure.
And, btw, congratulations for the excellent video and clear explanations!
great! fixed my mixer with ease... except the little pin was a bitch to get out even with a set of fine punches...
ОтветитьWouldn't have tried this without this video. We pulled out as many screws as we could, couldn't move anything and about gave up until we found this. Thank you!!
ОтветитьI got a dead one has power up to it but no go. How do you test the motor field winding / armature separately? If I put 120 volts AC directly to the brushes should the motor run? Thank you
