The MUST HAVE lens everyone needs! Newly Updated 50mm RF 1.8!

I have the 50 USM Lens with the adapter. It just doesn’t produce the same results / sharpness as an RF. I also own the 14-35 RF Red ring and 85 RF stm. The STM Out performs the 50 L USM lens. I’m guessing this Rf 50 will as well.

My Canon 80d have tv and av and P and M which one do you use for taking great pictures? My camera have 4 auto focusing which one do I use the manual selection 1 point auto focus or the zone auto focus or the large zone auto focus or the 45 point auto focus which one should I use for any picture I take?

Will this lens fit on a 600d, or do I need the adapter?

My only worry is the AF was extremely bad especially when shooting at f1.8. I’d like to see if that issue has been solved before purchasing one.

Hey Peter, I know you posted this quite some time ago. I was wondering if you noticed any noise while using manual focus during video? I have a komodo and I'm wondering if it's my camera or the lens. It seems as though when I disable auto focus in camera the lens might not receive that information since there' isn't a hard switch. I get a sort of whining sound when focusing as if it's forcing the af motors to move. Does this happen on any of the Canon cameras in manual focus?

I currently have a EF 50mm F1.8 and use it with my RP. The issue i have is that it is very slow to AF and keeps hunting for the focus. Does this problem go away with the RF version? or is this a problem with shooting with a fast F stop?

I have the $2000 15-35mm L lens, should I pick up the 50mm 1.8mm lens in order to shoot some macro product photos. I can't figure out if an expensive 35mm or a cheap 50mm would be best for product photography in a light box. Thanks for any input from anyone at all on this.
